The Best Soft Serve Ice Cream in Japan - KIHACHI

Soft serve ice cream is called soft cream (ソフトクリーム) in Japan and is very popular there. You can find one everywhere in Japan such as convenience store like Mini Stop.

Because I grew up and lived in Japan for most of my life, I've probably had more than a hundred of soft serve ice cream in Japan. The best soft serve in Japan I've ever had is Kihachi one. :)
Seriously, their soft serve has very decent taste. It tastes like a kind of high-end soft serve. ;) Indeed, their soft serve is a little more expensive (350yen) than typical soft serve in Japan (around 250yen), but their soft serve tastes so good! When I lived in Osaka, my husband and I went to Abeno Hoop for shopping, and we always had Kihachi soft serve there. Our favorite ones was black sesame flavor. :)  By the way, we also had lunch and dinner at Kihachi restaurant once in a while, and we loved their decent foods, but the Kihachi branch at Abeno Hoop closed years ago. :(

When my husband was on his business trip in Tokyo, he found Patisserie Kihachi at Haneda Airport.

He order this Kihachi soft serve, Black Sesame & Milk flavor, there and sent this photo to me. I really wished I had been there!

There are two Patisserie Kihachi branches at Haneda Airport. You can also find Patisserie Kihachi at some department stores such as Daimaru Tokyo. Patisserie Kihachi has 12 branches now. If you are planning on visiting Japan, you should try their delicious soft serve. :)

    1. You're welcome! There are 10 Patisserie Kihachi branches in Tokyo. If you use Haneda International Airport, it'll be easy to find their soft serve. Narita International Airport doesn't have a Kihachi branch for now. Have fun in Japan! Thank you for visiting my blog. :)
