Conrad Tokyo
As I mentioned in my previous entries, my husband and I visited Japan in spring 2026. After spending six days in Fukuoka, our hometown, we flew to Tokyo and checked into Conrad Tokyo. This was our second stay at the property. Our first visit was during the holiday season in 2022, and returning in spring gave us a completely different atmosphere.

Near the entrance, there was a huge display of fresh cherry blossoms in full bloom. Seeing them felt special, because I think this was probably my first time visiting Tokyo during cherry blossom season.
Conrad Tokyo Lobby (28th Floor)
Lobby (28th Floor)
We headed to the front desk on the 28th floor to check in, but the lobby was a bit crowded at that time. A staff member guided us to the Executive Lounge on the 37th floor instead. Guests staying in Executive Rooms—and those with Hilton Honors Diamond or Diamond Reserve status—can check in at the Executive Lounge without waiting in line, which made the process much smoother for us.
Executive Lounge (37th Floor)
Executive Lounge (37th Floor)
We were able to check in at the Executive Lounge while enjoying cups of coffee. I especially appreciated their high‑quality brew—it’s one of the little touches that makes the stay feel refined.
From the lounge, we enjoyed serene bay views along with the greenery of Hamarikyu Gardens through the large windows. The scene felt calm and peaceful, a perfect contrast to the busy city below.
Executive Room Bay View (48 sq m/516 sq ft)
Our room was on the 36th floor. We had originally booked the least expensive category, but at check‑in we were upgraded to an Executive Room Bay View thanks to Hilton Honors Diamond status.
Executive Room Bay View
The room was nice and spacious, offering plenty of comfort and room to relax.
JBL Clock
On the bedside table, there was a JBL clock with a built‑in speaker, a small but useful touch that added convenience to the room.
On the mini table near the windows, there was a welcome gift from Conrad Tokyo.
Hamarikyu Gardens
From our windows, we enjoyed a bird’s‑eye view of Tokyo Bay and the greenery of Hamarikyu Gardens, a serene outlook that made the room feel even more special.
Mini Bar
Nespresso Coffee Machine
The mini bar was set beneath the TV, a thoughtful touch that added comfort to the room.
Conrad Natural Mineral Water -Japan Quality-
There were two glass bottles of water, a thoughtful choice since most hotels provide plastic ones. Conrad’s use of glass felt more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
Nambu Tekki (南部鉄器)
There was a luxury Nambu Tekki (南部鉄器) iron teapot, a traditional piece that added both refinement and cultural charm to the room.
Nespresso Coffee Pods
There was a Nespresso machine with three kinds of Nespresso coffee pods, a small luxury that elevated the stay.
There were two sets of Narumi Bone China tea cups and two sets of Loveramics coffee mugs, each showcasing fine craftsmanship — Narumi with its delicate porcelain artistry and Loveramics with its modern, durable design.
In the mini fridge, there were soft drinks, beer, and chocolate. A can of Coke was priced at 920 yen — nearly seven to eight times higher than the regular convenience store price.
Bathroom
Bathroom
The bathroom was nice and clean, with a soaking tub positioned right next to the bedroom — a relaxing feature that added comfort and a touch of luxury to the stay.
There was a Conrad Duck placed in the bathroom, a whimsical signature amenity that guests can take home as a souvenir.
Conrad Duck
Amenities included a loofah sponge, shaving kit, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, hair comb, cotton balls, cotton pads, hair accessories, dental floss, and bath salts — a comprehensive selection that covered both essentials and thoughtful extras.
Repronizer 27D Plus
There was a high‑end hair dryer, the Repronizer 27D Plus, a luxury appliance renowned for its advanced technology and professional‑grade craftsmanship.
BYREDO
The hand wash was Byredo’s Mojave Ghost, a sophisticated fragrance that added a subtle touch of elegance to the bathroom.
The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were also from Byredo’s Mojave Ghost, extending the same sophisticated fragrance throughout the bathroom experience.

Turn-down Service
Around 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Conrad staff prepared the room for the night. When we returned from the Executive Lounge Evening Cocktail, the lights had been dimmed, two pairs of pajamas were neatly placed on the bed, and two bottles of water had been added — a considerate turndown service that made the room feel welcoming and restful.
Pajamas
Conrad Bear
A mini table was placed near the windows, with a bucket full of ice set neatly on top — a simple yet thoughtful touch that added convenience and a sense of readiness to the room.
