Affordable Japanese Hair Accessory and Jewelry Haul - What I Purchased in Japan

When I visited in Japan, I purchased some hair accessories and jewelries at 3COINS, Seria and Daiso, and I've been enjoying wearing these since then. Today, I'm going to share with you affordable hair accessories and jewelries I purchased in Japan, and you can also see how these currently look a year after I purchased them.

Affordable Japanese Hair Accessories

3COINS

I purchased this hair accessory at 3COINS, which is a Japanese 300 yen shop, so you can purchase almost any product for 300 yen there. Yes, I got this hair accessory for 300 yen! 😊 In Japan, you can find 3COINS pretty easily because it has many branches. In Tokyo, there are 45 3COINS branches now. By the way, my another favorite Japanese accessory store is Lattice, which you can also buy most of their accessories for 300 yen. You can check out my previous entry, Must Go to Place in Japan - Lattice.

300 yen Hair Accessory A Year Later

It's been almost a year since I purchased this hair accessory, and it's still as good as before. 😊 I like that it's very easy to use. I just tie my hair and hide hair tie with this. I specially wear it on weekends.

Seria

I purchased this Hairpin at Seria (セリア), which is a 100 yen shop. Seria has nearly 2000 branches in Japan and there are over 100 Seria branches in Tokyo. Unlike Daiso, Seria sells all products for 100 yen each and most of them are made in Japan.

100 yen Hair Accessory A Year Later

This hairpin is called kanzashi (かんざし) in Japanese. Because it's made of plastic, it's now still as new as a years ago. I've been wearing it on weekdays since I purchased it. I makes a low bun with hair tie and secure with U-shaped hairpins. Then, I add this kanzashi to my low bun hairstyle.

Daiso

I purchased this hair accessory at Daiso (ダイソー). You know Daiso is a Japanese 100 yen shop. You can check my previous entries related to Daiso. By the way, my must buy Diaso item is Daiso Detergent Cleaning for Markup Puff and Sponge, which you can only purchased at Daiso in Japan.

This is also still as good as a year ago. I wear it on weekends usually. It makes my hairstyle cute and chic.

Seria

I purchased these gold hoop earrings at Seria.

These are also as shinny as a year ago. 😊 These earring goes well with any outfit, I think.

After a year, the metal parts lost their shine. Although stones are still good. However, these were only 100 yen, so I have no regret at all. 😆

My Affordable Hair Accessory and Jewelry Haul

I cannot believe that these were 100 yen to 300 yen each. 😉 The most expensive earrings I've purchased in the past 10 years was Coach ones which I purchased for $21.37 at Desert Hills Premium Outlets. However, for Hair Accessories, I haven't spent more than $3 each recently. 😆

Uniqlo Haul - Popular Round Mini Shoulder Bags!

　 Did you know that Uniqlo Round Mini Shoulder Bags have been very popular on TikTok? It's a mini bag but fits large amount of items. After watching many videos, I decided to go to Uniqlo branch at South Coast Plaza.

At the store, there were many colors I can choose from.

The bag is selling $19.90. If you are in Japan, you can purchase one for 1,500 yen, which equivalent to $10.63 (1USD = 141 JPN YEN).

According to Uniqlo, it's perfect for men and women.

Finally, my husband and I finally purchased the black one for me and navy blue one for him. It's puffy and made from nylon, so it's very light weight.

It looks small but fits what I need for short hikes. I use this bag for hikes and shopping on weekends. It's been three months since I purchased this bag, and I really like it. It's really light weight, so it's so comfortable to wear. It's roomy and holds a lot of stuff. I've used it every weekend.

Uniqlo AIRism UV Protection Pocketed Soft Leggings

At the Uniqlo, I also purchased these AIRism UV Protection Pocketed Soft Leggings for $39.90. The reasons why I purchased them were UV protection and AIRism. They are UPF 50+, so it protects me from harmful UV-ray during hikes. In addition, the leggings feel cool to the touch because of AIRism comfort conditioning technology. The only downside is that you cannot use a dryer for them, but they dries fast, so it's not a big problem.

I purchased this BareMineals Bare Pro 24HR Performance Wear Liquid Foundation from Macy's 10 Days of Glam Sale. It is originally $37 but was on sale for $18.50!

It's always difficult for me to find the best foundation shade in the U.S. BareMineals Bare Pro has 35 shades in the U.S. There are way too many shades I can choose from! That's why when I purchase foundation, I always check its official Japanese site and try to find which ones are perfect for Asian skin tones. In Japan, there are only 10 shades, and it says Warm Light 07 is the most popular one.

I purchased this Clinique Quickliner for Eyes Intense at Marshalls. It is originally $22 but was $7.99 there. Clinique is one of my favorite brands in the U.S., and I love brown shade eyeliners. That's why I couldn't miss out on this deal.

My husband and I went to Desert Hills Premium Outlets during Labor Day weekend, and I purchased this Kate Spade New York Darcy Large Slim Bifold Wallet Houndstooth Print. It was originally $179 but was on sale for $42.96.

The reason why I purchased this wallet was that it has a lot of slots. Unlike Japan, I don't use cash at all in the U.S. However, I use a lot of credit cards to earn rewards. This wallet has 12 credit card slots, id window, four slip pockets. It holds a lot!

Now, I have three Kate Spade wallets. The largest one, Kate Spade New York Primrose Hill Nisha Wallet, was purchased in 2013 and is still in very good shape. It's perfect when I often use cash, so I will use it when I visit Japan. The smallest one, Kate Spade New York Small Shawn WLRU 5243 Larchmont Avenue Black, was purchased in 2019 and is perfect when I want to bring the minimum because I don't want to make my bag heavy, so it's always in my work bag. From now on, I will use my new Kate Spade wallet a lot because I don't use cash.

It was extremely hot at Desert Hills Premium Outlets during Labor Day weekend, and it was not crowded at all. There were so many empty parking spaces in the parking lot when we arrived there at around 3 p.m.. I thought that there were still less international tourists due to the pandemic.
