Daiso Haul

Yesterday, I shared with you some high-rated Daiso products and interesting products I found at my local Daiso through my yesterday's entry. Today, I'm going to share two Daiso products I purchased there with you. :)

■Daiso Oil Blotting Paper
My favorite Muji oil blotting paper is running out, so I wanted to get new one. At Daiso, I was interested in this oil blotting paper, Daiso Face Paper Sumi, since I knows that charcoal, which is called sumi (炭) in Japanese, is good for skin. I had never tried charcoal oil blotting paper before, so I decided to purchase it. :) By the way, oil blotting paper is called aburatorigami in Japanese. Abura (油) is oil, tori (取り) is to remove, and gami (紙) is a paper.

This oil blotting paper was made from Mino washi, which is traditional Japanese paper made in Gifu prefecture, Japan. :)

The packaging looks cheap though.

However, I was impressed that the oil blotting paper is black, which is the color of charcoal! :) The size of paper is 9cm x 9cm (3.5 inches x 3.5 inches), which is pretty large. I used it for my first time just now. It removes excess oil well, and what I liked it was it is nice and thick, so it didn't tear while I was using it. :)

■Daiso Silicone Rice Ball Case
I also purchase this silicone rice ball case, Daiso Easy Rice Ball Packer L, because I found that it has many positive reviews in Japan.

You can store steamed rice in it in freezer, and microwave it for fresh rice ball. You can take it to your office or school for lunch. :)

You can put about 120g of steamed rice in it. It says it is large size, but my husband says it's pretty small, and he needs two at least for his lunch.
