Starbucks Caramel Espresso Granita

     Yesterday, I went to Starbucks and decided to try their new drink, Starbucks Granita, which was just released in June 14th and is only available after 3 p.m.

      Since I made coffee granita at home and shared the recipe through my previous entry and my YouTube video this year, I was really interested in how they make coffee granita at Starbucks. The barista blended syrup, water and some ice cubes. Then, she poured it into the cup and topped with espresso, cream and caramel syrup. In my opinion, it was like shave ice rather than granita.

     It tasted like very bland caramel Frappuccino. It was not very bad actually, but I prefer their Caramel Frappuccino.
