Huge Japanese Beauty Haul

When I was in Japan, Japanese yen was pretty low (1 USD was 141 yen at that time.), so everything I saw in Japan looked an incredible bargain to me.😂

Muji Eye Color Cream Type Orange Brown (無印良品 アイカラー クリームタイプ オレンジブラウン)
As I mentioned in my previous entry, 8 Products I Purchased at Muji Store in Japan - Muji Haul, I also purchased Muji Eye Color Cream Type Orange Brown (無印良品 アイカラー クリームタイプ オレンジブラウン), which has many positive reviews in Japan. In addition to this eye shadow, I purchased some more makeup products at drugstores in Tokyo. Today, I'm going to share three Japanese makeup products I purchased in Japan with you.

3 Japanese Makeup Products I Purchased in Japan

1. CEZANNE Beige Tone Eye Shadow 03 Antique Beige  (セザンヌ ベージュトーン アイシャドウ 03アンティークベージュ)

Eyeshadow (Best Color for Warm Skin Tone)

Purchased for 680 yen ($4.82) at Matsumotokiyoshi drugstores in Tokyo

Can be also purchased at most drugstores in Japan

CEZANNE Beige Tone Eye Shadow 03 Antique Beige (セザンヌ ベージュトーン アイシャドウ 03アンティークベージュ)
CEZANNE Beige Tone Eye Shadow has been very popular in Japan since it released last year, and I always wanted to try one! You can check out my previous entry, CEZANNE Beige Tone Eyeshadow - The Most Popular Japanese Eyeshadow. There were three types of eye shadow palettes I could choose from back then. (Now, there are four kinds of CEZANNE Beige Tone Eye Shadow in Japan.) I finally decided to purchase this pink beige eye shadow palette, 03 Antique Beige. Indeed, this was the most frequently used eye shadow palette for me in the past three months. I've often worn this eye shadow since I purchased it in Japan, and I really love it!

The colors of 03 Antique Beige are beautiful and last all day. I thought that I should have purchased some other colors of CEZANNE Beige Tone Eye Shadow too.

2. CANMAKE Creamy Touch Liner (キャンメイク クリーミータッチ ライナー)

Waterproof Gel Eyeliner

02 Medium Brown

Purchased it for 650 yen ($4.60) at Sun Drug drugstore in Tokyo

Can be also purchased at some drugstores, Donki, Loft, Plaza and etc in Japan.

CANMAKE Creamy Touch Liner (キャンメイク クリーミータッチ ライナー)

As I mentioned in my previous entry, 3 Best Japanese Eyeliners You Should Try , The most popular eyeliner in Japan is definitely CANMAKE Creamy Touch Liner (キャンメイク クリーミータッチ ライナー). Indeed, it has won the best eyeliner award in Japan every year since it was released in 2018. I had purchased CANMAKE Creamy Touch Liners several times before and really loved it. That's why I couldn't resist buying this eyeliner in Japan because it's more than two times expensive in the U.S.

CANMAKE Creamy Touch Liner (キャンメイク クリーミータッチ ライナー)

I purchased this brown color eyeliner, 02 Medium Brown. It's very thin 1.5-mm eyeliner, so you can apply it between eyelashes easily. It's waterproof, so it stays on really well.

Rosy Rosa Jelly Touch Sponge (ロージーローザ ジェリータッチスポンジ)

I've been using Beauty Blender for over 10 years. It's so easy to apply liquid foundation perfectly with Beauty Blender. Yet, I was always interested in Japanese makeup sponge. This Rosy Rosa Jelly Touch Sponge has been very popular in Japan, and I finally decided to purchase it. Beauty Blender is 35 times more expensive than Rosy Rosa. I cannot wait to try this affordable Japanese makeup sponge.

【Hike】San Onofre State Beach - Peace and Quiet Beach Hike with Amazing Views

Last year, my husband and I decided to go to San Onofre State Beach, located between San Clemente (Orange County) and Oceanside (San Diego County) and near the now-closed San Onofre Nuclear Generation Station. We found this trail in the book, 50 Hikes in Orange County, which I purchased to enjoy Orange County hikes. There are two options, the beach hike and the backcountry hike of San Onofre, we could choose from and we decided to try the beach hike this time.

Tips for Walking on the Beach Hike Trails of San Onofre State Beach.
・Apply sunscreen on entire body.
・Wear sunglasses and hat with high UPF.
・Drink water often.
・You can bring your dogs as long as they're kept on a leash.
・It's moderately easy trail.

Last year, I also started using AllTrails App. It's easy to use and helped me to not get lost. This beach hike trail was pretty simple and easy but was still very helpful to know which trail I was walking.

There are Beach Trail 1 to 6 you can start from. We started walking from the Beach Trail 1 around at 3 p.m. The Beach Trail is leading down to the beach.

The Views from Beach Trail 1

The views from the Beach Trail 1 were breathtaking.

We could see the permanently closed nuclear power plant from the trail.

On your right, you will see a dramatic break in the bluffs.

You can also see the nuclear power plant from the beach.

We headed toward south and enjoyed walking along the beautiful beach.

After a while, the beach was quieter and prettier.

       We found the small crab.

Lifeguard Tower 6

We reached to the lifeguard tower 6 and decided to hike up to the Beach Trail 6.

Beach Trail 6

We headed north and walked along the parking lots and camping sites.

We were finally back to the Beach Trail 1.

It was a nearly three-hour walking but was pretty easy hike for us. It was really pleasant exercising. Specifically, I really loved walking along the beautiful quiet beach. It was so peaceful.

How to Cook Chinjao Rosu, Pepper Pork Steak

When I have green bell peppers and onions in my kitchen, I sometimes cook this chinjao rous (チンジャーロース, 青椒肉絲), pepper steak. It's easy to cook and goes well with white rice. 😋

Today, I'm going to share how to cook chinjao rous with you. This time, I used pork, but you can use beef or chicken as well. For vegetables, you can also add red bell peppers, bamboo shoots and etc.

Ingredients (2 to 4 Servings)

2 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce

1 Tablespoon of Sake

A Pinch of Salt

A Pinch of Black Peppers

2 Teaspoons of Potato Starch (Katakuriko)

1 Tablespoons of Olive Oil

1 Pound of Pork (Strips)

1 Tablespoon of Oil

1/2 Cup of Mushrooms (Sliced)

1 Green Bell Pepper (Sliced)

1 Onion (Sliced)

1 Tablespoon of Ginger (Grated or Minced)

4 Medium Green Onions (Cut in 2 inches)

1. Combine soy sauce, sake, salt, black peppers, potato starch and olive oil in a bowl and mix them well. Then, add pork.

 2. Heat oil in a large pan over high heat. Saute mushrooms until browned both sides.

 3. Add green bell peppers and onions. Stir fry them for 2 minutes. Then, move stir-fried vegetables onto a dish.

 4. Stir fry gingers and green onions in the pan over high heat for a minute.

 5. Add marinated pork, and stir fry them until pork is fully cooked.

 6. Add stir-fried mushrooms, green peppers, and onions. Stir fry them for a minute.

 7. Serve and enjoy!
