      Last weekend, my husband and I went to Desert Hills Premium Outlets. It was the last weekend before Christmas, so I had expected that it must be very crowded with people enjoying the last-minute holiday shopping. However, it was not too bad. I think that it was almost as busy as regular weekend. :)

          It's been a while since we had enjoyed shopping at an outlet mall. It's because online shopping is obviously more convenient than traditional shopping. However, I thought that a one-day shopping trip must be a fun event for us and would be a pleasant exercise to walk around the mall. Actually, we were really enjoyed shopping there because many retailers were offering big holiday sales! Today, I'm going to share what I purchased at Desert Hills Premium Outlet with you.

        I wanted to get a lightweight everyday bag. This Kate Spade black tote was originally $299 but was on sale for $71.76!

       That day, Coach was offering 70% off almost all products. In addition, they were offering an extra 25% off some of products, which were tote bags, wallets, jewelry, men's backpacks and belts! (It means that you would get a total of 77.5% discount for some products.)

     I wanted a new knit hat! This J.Crew knit hat was originally $39.50 but was on sale for $15.79!

     They gave me this full size holiday wrapping paper for free. :)

      One of the best parts for in-store shopping is that you can try on as many clothing as you want. At the store, there was no waiting line for the fitting room, so I also tried on multiple sizes. :) This Banana Republic stripe top was originally $44.99 but was on sale for $12. I paid it with a Banana Republic gift card which I purchased 20% off many years ago. This stripe top ended up being $9.6 with a gift card deal. ;)

      He wanted to get new shoes and likes Clarks shoes because their shoes are always so comfortable to walk in. :)

     These were originally $199.94 for two pairs of shoes but were on sale for $108.94. In addition, we unexpectedly got this black wallet as a gift for free!

       I paid these with my credit card which I had linked to Ebates in-store shopping deal, so I got $4.69 cashback from Ebates. I also submitted the receipt for ibotta deal, so I got another $15.26 cashback from ibotta. After everything, these two pairs of Clarks shoes and the wallet ended up being $88.99! :)  I like that Ebates and ibotta started offering cashback deal for both online and in-store purchase from some famous retailers. Coach Factory Haul

     I'm going to Japan and see my sister end of this month. That's why my sister and her husband asked me to get Coach bags because Coach products in Japan are more than two times expensive than U.S. I ordered two bags for them last week and received the package yesterday. :) I'm going to share what I got for them with you.

     My sister requested me to purchase this bright purple leather handbag, which is Peyton Jordan Double Zip Carryall in Leather. This was originally $428 but was on sale for $181.30. She told me that this bag would be perfect for spring, and she would like to wear beige Coach Signature scarf, which I had given her before, with it.

     My brother-in-law chose this Heritage Signature Foldover Tote. This was originally $398 but was on sale for $211.40. He really likes Coach products more than my sister does.

Carlsbad Premium Outlets Haul - Coach & Gap

     Yesterday, my husband and I stopped at Carlsbad Premium Outlets mall after going to La Jolla Beach. That day was still Black Friday weekends, so there were many sales going on. We purchased only a few items though. I'm going to share with you what we got there.

     My husband bought a reversible leather belt at Coach factory.

    This versatile leather belt reverses from brown to black to match his outfit. It was originally $118 but was clearance sale for $21.60. It came out 81% off!

     I bought two long sleeve tees at Gap Outlets. These were originally $19.99 each but were on sale for $7.99 each. It came out 60% off. I was looking for a long sleeve tee to wear underneath my own sweaters, so it was good deal for me. :) Gap was having 50% off entire store that day.

     I don't like going to outlets malls on Black Friday because I want to avoid a huge traffic jam and extremely crowded areas. Black Friday had been already over, so it was not too crowded yesterday. However, many stores were still offering great deals. :) I think the deal was not as huge as Black Friday, but I was satisfied with my shopping yesterday.

Received the Package from Coach Factory

     My sister requested me to order some Coach products on Aug 14. I received the package from Coach Factory today.

     She bought two Signature Stripe Ikat Print iPhone 5 cases, which were $14.50 each. I forgot the retail price, but I think these were originally $38 each. As far as I know, iPhone cases are not available in Coach Japan.

     She also bought a Park Signature Hobo, which was originally $359 but was on sale for $149.

     Coach products are really high-end brand in Japan. They sell their products in Japan three times more expensive than ones in U.S. That's why when I go to outlets mall, Coach Factory store is always full of customers, most of whom seem foreigners like me. I understand why they buy so many bags. It's because bags at Coach Factory are incredible bargain compared to their home countries.

The Price of Differences between Coach and Coach Factory

Yesterday, I got an email from Coach Factory that they were having online sale. You may think Coach Factory always sells their products cheaper than Coach (not Coach Factory) does. Actually, it is not true. Coach also usually has on sale for some shoes online. Sometimes, they even sell some shoes cheaper than Coach Factory does.

Here is the example.

The Sophia Flat Shoes were originally $128, but it was on sale for $69.30 at Coach Factory online sale. In contrast, Coach (not Coach Factory) is selling them for $69 at their online. The price of differences is only 30 cents though. While they were already sold out at Coach Factory, there are still seven different sizes available at Coach online. Before buying your shoes, you should compare the prices and sizes between at Coach and Coach Factory.

By the way, these shoes are selling about for $300 in Japan. That's even more expensive!

Now I am not really interested in Coach shoes; however, if I buy them, I don't prefer online shopping because I want to try them on to make sure if it fits my feet before buying them. Even though it is not difficult to return them in the U.S. if I am not satisfied, I prefer shopping for my shoes at a store in order to compare with as many shoes as I'd like indeed.

Today, I got an email from Coach Factory. They are having online sale in limited time. While they usually sell mostly bag and wallet, they sell additionally winter clothing and accessory this time.

I am not planning on buying any Coach products for a while, but I'm going to share you what I like. :)

Coach Wallet and Kate Spade New York Wallet

Last week, I ordered Coach Peyton Embossed Patent Zip Around wallet for my sister. As I mentioned in previous entry, that was the last time for her to purchase from Coach Factory.

When I saw it online, the surface didn't look shiny. However, it actually has enamel surface. There is a difference between online photo and the real wallet, it is very stylish though. I asked my sister if she likes it because I should return it if she doesn't want it.

I wanted the same one because this design was very stylish, but I had already decided to purchase from Kate Spade New York for the next my wallet some day.
