Top 15 Popular Posts from Best Japanese Beauty Products

I've sometimes written about popular Japanese products which have many positive reviews and won beauty awards in Japan. Today, I checked one of my blog labels, Best Japanese Beauty Products, which is all about excellent Japanese beauty products. The label has 84 entries now. Today, I'm going to share with you 15 most popular entries from Best Japanese Beauty Products in the past a year. Hopefully, you are able to find Japanese beauty entries that you might have missed. :)

No.1   Top 5 Most Popular Japanese Pore Minimizer
Kanebo Suisai Beauty Clear Powder
I love Kanebo Suisai Beauty Clear Powder, which is enzyme facial cleansing powder. When you foam up Suisai Clear Powder, I recommend you to use a Japanese foaming net. (Japanese cosmetic companies and beauty magazines always recommend to wash your face with plenty of thick foam.)

No.2   5 Best Japanese Facial Lotion (Toner), Kesho-sui
Kose Sekkisei Lotion
Japanese facial lotion is called keshosui (化粧水) in Japan, and it is seriously the most important skincare item for Japanese women. By the way, my favorite keshosui is Muji Light Toning Water. :)

No.3   3 Best Japanese Eye Creams Won Beauty Award This Year
POLA Pola Wrinkle Shot Medical Serum
I believe that applying eye cream every day is very important because the skin around eye area is thinnest in the body and is the first to show age.

No.4   Top 5 Life-Changing Japanese Beauty Products
Japanese Foaming Net
I want you to try these five products! I think that most Japanese women use a foaming net, which allow you to create very thick foam very quickly with only tiny amount of a facial cleansing product.

Shiseido Fino Premium Touch Hair Mask
Japanese deep conditioning hair masks are affordable and truly work! I'm currently using Shiseido Fino and really love it. :)

No.6   Top 3 Best Japanese Double Eyelid Glue/Tape Products
Royal Petit Eyem
Many of my Japanese friends who have monolids have used Japanese double eyelid glue/tape every day. I always forget my friends have monolids originally. Their double eyelids look perfectly natural to me.

No.7   4 Best Japanese Anti-Aging Creams And Serums
POLA Pola Wrinkle Shot Medical Serum
I've often seen Pola Wrinkle Shot Medical Serum in many Japanese beauty magazines. It has been very popular and won many beauty awards in Japan.

No.8   The Best Japanese Shampoo & Conditioner
Ichikami
Japanese shampoo works great and is very affordable in Japan. I miss Japanese shampoo!

No.9   The Most Popular Facial Sheet Masks in Japan
Quality First All-In-one Sheet Mask
I think that many of my readers are interested in Japanese facial sheet mask. :) By the way, when you use a facial sheet mask, I recommend you to use Daiso Japan Reusable Silicon Mask Cover, which prevents moisture evaporation from the mask. :)

No.10   2 Most Popular Kose Sekkisui Products - Popular Beauty Souvenirs from Japan
Kose Sekkisui White Washing Cream
Did you know that Sekkisui (雪肌粋) and Sekkisei (雪肌精) are sister brands? Kose and 7-Eleven have created Sekkisui, an affordable skin care products. You can purchase Sekkisui products at 7-Eleven convenience stores in Japan.

No.11   5 Best Japanese Eyebrow Makeup Products
Kiss Me Heavy Rotation
Japanese eyebrow makeup gives you perfect natural look. If you have black or brown hair, you should try Japanese one. I'm currently using KATE Designing Eyebrow I purchased in Japan and really love it.

No.12   Saborino - New Popular Japanese Facial Sheet Mask for Busy Morning
Saborino
Saborino has been very popular "Morning" facial sheet mask in Japan since it was released in 2015. I also really love Saborino because my makeup looks great all day long after applying it.

No.13   Best Japanese Hair Growth Products from Shiseido
Shiseido Adenovital
In Japan, Shiseido Adenovital series have so many positive reviews. I'm not sure if it really works for you, but some Japanese people have noticed that it reduces hair loss and their hair is stronger and thicker than before.

No.14   Rohto Obagi Vitamin C Serum - Japanese Beauty Serum Loved by Foreign Tourists
Rohto Obagi Vitamin C Serum
Rohoto Obagi Vitamin C Serum is one of the most popular Japanese beauty products for foreign tourists visiting Japan. It has actually won many beauty awards in Japan. Many Japanese people review that it minimizes skin pores and evens skin tone. Especially, it works for acne scars and enlarged facial pores in aging.

No.15   Top 5 Most Popular Japanese Charcoal Soap
 Nippon Kodo Deitanseki Soap
Charcoal has numerous pores which absorb bad odors and chemical. It is also good for skin and is used as cleansing products. Because charcoal absorbs dirt from pores, you can get very clean skin by using it. As I mentioned in my previous entry, 10 Best Japanese Beauty Products on Amazon Japan, You Can Also Purchase Them at Drugstores in Japan, I also purchased a Deitanseki Charcoal Soap in Japan and love it. :)

Asian Supermarkets Beauty Haul (Korean and Japanese Facial Masks)

When I go to my local Korean and Japanese supermarkets in the U.S., I always check their beauty section. Today, I'm going to share with you facial sheet masks I purchased there this month. :)

H Mart (Korean Supermarket)
H Mart is a Korean supermarket chain. In the U.S., they have over 60 branches.
Deoproce Lap Therapy Ampoule Mask
Compared to Japanese supermarkets, Korean supermarkets don't carry a wide selection of beauty products. That's why it's very easy for me to choose ones. :) I think that CVS and Target has more Korean beauty products than Korean supermarkets do.  At H Mart, there were several kinds of facial masks I could choose from. This time, I purchased two kinds of Deoproce Lap Therapy facial masks. These were $1.49 each. When I first saw these facial masks, I thought the packaging looked very similar to Mediheal Facial Masks, which are very popular Korean facial masks in Japan too.

Deoproce Lap Therapy Swallow's Nest Aqua Ampoule Mask Pack 0.88oz(25g)

Deoproce Lap Therapy Swallow's Nest Aqua Ampoule Mask Pack 0.88oz(25g)
The reason why I was interested in this facial mask was that this was very unique 2-step facial mask. First, open up the ampoule pouch, and add it to the facial mask sheet. Then, leave it on your face for 15 to 20 minutes.
Deoproce Lap Therapy Swallow's Nest Aqua Ampoule Mask Pack 0.88oz(25g)
HOW TO USE
Step 1. Open the ampoule pouch and spread it even by massaging with your fingers. 2. Wait until it absorbs.
Step 2. Open the mask sheet and apply on face. 2. Leave on for 20 mins and remove and gently massage any remaining liquids onto the face.
Step 3. Leave the ampoule and essence on your face overnight.

Deoproce Lap Therapy Swallow's Nest Aqua Ampoule Mask Pack 0.88oz(25g)
I've already tried this Lap Therapy Swallow's Nest Aqua Ampoule Mask. I really liked it! The sheet mask was large enough and had plenty of beauty serum. After I applied this facial mask, I noticed that my skin got well hydrated and very soft. :)
Deoproce Lap Therapy Placenta Soothing Ampoule Mask Pack 0.88oz(25g)
I also purchased this Lap Therapy Placenta Soothing Ampoule Mask. It contains soybean phytoplacenta ingredients.

 Mitsuwa Marketplace (Japanese Supermarket)
Mitsuwa is a Japanese Supermarket chain in the U.S. They have 11 branches in the U.S. If you live in Southern California, I also recommend you to check Tokyo Central, another Japanese supermarket chain in the U.S. Compared to Korean supermarkets, a number of Japanese stores in the U.S. is smaller, but Mitsuwa and Tokyo Central sell many Japanese beauty products.
Saborino Facial Masks
Last weekend, I found that Saborino facial masks were on sale for $12.99 at Mitsuwa through August 1!  As I mentioned in my previous entry, 3 Most Popular Facial Sheet Masks in Japan, Saborino is an all-in-one facial sheet mask for morning skincare and is one of the most popular Japanese facial sheet mask. At Mitsuwa, there were 8 kinds of Saborino I could choose from. I usually purchase Saborino red one (extra moisturizing and mix berries scent), but this time, I purchased Saborino Premium Orange for my first time.
Saborino Premium Orange

Saborino Premium is an extra moisturizing milky lotion mask. If you have dry skin, Saborino Premium is perfect for you. :) There are two kinds of Saborino Premium masks, White Strawberries and Orange.
Saborino Premium
HOW TO USE
・Apply on dry skin right after wake up.
・Leave on for 60 seconds.
・Use daily.

Saborino Premium Orange
I really liked it! :)  I first thought the sheet mask was a bit small, but it moisturized my skin really well. After applying this mask, I noticed that my makeup looks great all day long. I really love a morning facial mask. ;)  Saborino Premium contains 28 sheets, so you can enjoy it everyday for 28 days!

Maria's Frybread & Mexican Food in Phoenix, Arizona

As I mentioned in my previous entry, my husband and I went to Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. Before heading back California, I really wanted to try a frybread, a Native American bread. We went to this restaurant, Maria's Frybread & Mexican Food, located in Phoenix because it has many great reviews on Yelp.

Because we had a big breakfast at the hotel that day, we were still not very hungry at this time but wanted to try a frybread in Arizona. We ordered this frybread taco for $8.13. It was bigger than we had expected!
Frybread Taco
Seriously, it was very delicious! It had shredded beef, beans, cheese, lettuces and tomatoes. When we visit Arizona next time, we will definitely have a frybread taco again! :)

Then, we headed toward California. While driving on I-10, we saw many saguaro cacti.

Then, we also saw some Amazon trucks!

It was just a 2 days 1 night vacation, but we really enjoyed Arizona! :)

Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona

Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona
As I mentioned in my previous entry, my husband and I went to Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. After checking-out at this hotel, we went to Old Town Scottsdale.
Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona
The Old Town has many free on-street parking spaces.

We took a walk around this area. There were many restaurants, souvenir stores, Native American jewelry stores and art gallery.

Because of strong sunlight and extremely hot temperatures, we could only walk around there 30 minutes or so. (It was about 105℉, 41℃!)

Then, I asked him if we could see open houses in Scottsdale and Phoenix areas. I heard that many young people move to Phoenix from California because it's cheaper to live in Phoenix. When we arrived in Phoenix on July 6, I was surprised at the sign of apartment I saw from our car. It read, "$700 a Month for 2 Bedrooms!" I didn't know that an apartment monthly cost in Phoenix is three times cheaper than one in California. I told him, "It's a hypothetical question, but what if we purchase a new home in Phoenix and live here?" We visited a few open houses in Phoenix anyway before heading back to California.

After visiting open houses, we went to a restaurant to have a frybread, a Native American bread. I'll write about it next time.

The Workout Center at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs (The View from the Balcony)
As I mentioned in my previous entry, my husband and I went to Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. On July 7, I woke up very early morning. We decided to go to the gym, which was very close from our room and was only a stone's throw from the balcony.

When we arrived at the gym at 7 a.m., it was very quiet. We saw only one young man working out there.  We worked out on ellipticals for 20 minutes or so.

Even though it was still 8 a.m., it's already hot in Phoenix. The water was not very cold. :)  I really enjoyed swimming there.

We lay down on the poolside chairs in the shade of the tree. It was very comfortable to spend time there.

After that, we went to Pointe In Tyme to have breakfast.  We also went to the souvenir store in this Hilton Hotel and purchased a little fridge magnet. Overall, we really enjoyed this resort hotel. :)
