How to Cook Fusilli Pasta with Tuna and Onion

How to Cook Fusilli Pasta with Tuna and Onion
As I mentioned in my previous entry, Limited-Edition Dolce & Gabbana Pasta - Pasta Dishes I Cooked with The Luxury Fashion Brand's Pastas, I purchased Dolce & Gabbana Pasta with Pastificio G Di Martino and cooked this fusilli pasta with tuna and onion. It turned out to be delicious! I also sprinkled fresh crumbled Gorgonzola, a veined blue cheese. It added richer and creamier taste to it, and it turned out to be more delicious.
Dolce & Gabbana Pasta with Pastificio G Di Martino Fusilli Corti Col Buco

I like that this Dolce & Gabbana Fusilli has hollow spiral shapes. 😍 Anyway, I'm going to share with you how to cook fusilli pasta with tuna and onion.

How to Cook Fusilli Pasta with Tuna and Onion

Ingredients (4 Servings)

1 LB (454g) of Fusilli Pasta

2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil

3 Cloves of Garlic (Sliced)

1 Dried Red Chili Pepper (Optional)

1 Onion (Sliced)

1 Can of Tuna

2 Tablespoons of White Wine

1 Teaspoon of Dried Oregano

1 Teaspoon of Ground Cumin

Dash (1/8 Teaspoon) of Salt

Black Pepper

Fresh Italian Parsley (Minced)

Crumbled Gorgonzola (or Your Favorite Cheese)

1. Cook the pasta in boiling water according to the package.

2. Heat olive oil, garlic and chopped red chili pepper in a large pan.  Cook them until garlic is golden browned.  (I skipped red chili pepper this time.)  Then, take browned garlic out of the pan.

3. Stir-fry onion for one minute.

4. Add tuna and stir.

5. Add white wine and stir. Add oregano, cumin, salt and black pepper, and stir. Pour 1/2 cup of boiling water in it. (You can use boiling water from the pan you are cooking pasta in.)

6. Add cooked pasta in it. Stir to coat for 1 minute.

7. Serve on the plate.

 8. Sprinkle crumbed Gorgonzola, and garnish with fresh parsley.

 9. Enjoy!

When you add crumbed Gorgonzola at last, it tastes more delicious! I hope you will try this recipe. 😋

In Orange County, mountain lions can be found in many cities. For instance, last month, a mountain lion was spotted roaming a residential neighborhood in Newport Beach, and it was also spotted on Laguna Beach streets. In March, it was spotted roaming throughout a shopping center in Irvine. Therefore you should know what to do if you encounter a mountain lion before you go hiking in the mountains.
