Uniqlo Haul - Popular Round Mini Shoulder Bags!

　    Did you know that Uniqlo Round Mini Shoulder Bags have been very popular on TikTok? It's a mini bag but fits large amount of items. After watching many videos, I decided to go to Uniqlo branch at South Coast Plaza.

      At the store, there were many colors I can choose from.
 

       The bag is selling $19.90. If you are in Japan, you can purchase one for 1,500 yen, which equivalent to $10.63 (1USD = 141 JPN YEN).

          According to Uniqlo, it's perfect for men and women.

      Finally, my husband and I finally purchased the black one for me and navy blue one for him. It's puffy and made from nylon, so it's very light weight.

      It looks small but fits what I need for short hikes. I use this bag for hikes and shopping on weekends. It's been three months since I purchased this bag, and I really like it. It's really light weight, so it's so comfortable to wear. It's roomy and holds a lot of stuff. I've used it every weekend.

 

Uniqlo AIRism UV Protection Pocketed Soft Leggings

      At the Uniqlo, I also purchased these AIRism UV Protection Pocketed Soft Leggings for $39.90. The reasons why I purchased them were UV protection and AIRism. They are UPF 50+, so it protects me from harmful UV-ray during hikes. In addition, the leggings feel cool to the touch because of AIRism comfort conditioning technology. The only downside is that you cannot use a dryer for them, but they dries fast, so it's not a big problem.

UNIQLO Haul

        Last week, I ordered some articles of clothing from Uniqlo because I really wanted to get Uniqlo + Paul & Joe clothing. I finally received the package this week.  Then, my husband and I also went to an Uniqlo branch located in South Coast Plaza this weekend because I wanted to check more of Uniqlo clothing and also wanted to see if shoppers were coming back to shopping malls. I was surprised that people were waiting in long lines to enter some stores such as Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, Uniqlo and more. Although those stores were still not crowded at all because they were just limiting how many people are allowed inside its stores at one time. Yet, obviously, many people in the U.S. are going back to shopping malls since many of them are fully vaccinated for Covid-19.

     Uniqlo has sometimes made limited edition collections with other fashion designers such as Theory, Jil Sander, KAWS, Anna Sui, Paul & Joe and more.  Did you know that this Paul & Joe collection has been very popular in Japan? At the store, I found many articles of UNIQLO + Paul & Joe Collection. They still had plenty of those at stores in the U.S. 😉 I'm going to share which ones I purchased with you.

     At the store, I wanted to purchase their UV protection hoodies. I ended up purchasing this AIRism Mesh UV Protection Hoodie. It was originally $29.90 but was on sale for $24.90. According to Uniqlo, this hoodie blocks 90% UV rays (UPF40)! It's very lightweight and cool feeling. It's perfect for this summer. I would like to wear it while driving my car.

     I also purchased this Uniqlo Pocketable UV Protection Parka. This was originally $39.90 but was on sale for $29.90. According to Uniqlo, it protects you from UV rays (UPF40). This one is also very lightweight and has cool feeling. I would like to wear it while walking outside.

      I've already known that Uniqlo AIRism Sleeveless Bra Top has been one of their best selling products for many years, but this was my first time to purchase this one. It was only $24.90. Actually, I really love it! I thought that I should have purchased this one sooner! It's very soft and very comfortable, and you don't need to wear uncomfortable bra anymore. New Uniqlo Branch in Southern California & Uniqlo Clothing in Japan

      I was glad to hear that the new Uniqlo branch would open at South Coast Plaza this fall. It will be first location in Southern California!

     Uniqlo is a globally popular Japanese casual fashion retailer. They have over 1,200 branches all over the world. Their clothing is pretty well made and sells with reasonable prices. It's true that many Japanese celebrities wear Uniqlo clothing, such as some famous fashion models and actors. That's why they are also popular for people who are really interested in fashion.

     Moreover, their clothing is widely loved among all ages in Japan because their clothing is simply designed and pretty functional. Specifically, their Ultra Light Down Jackets have been incredibly very popular in Japan. When I went to Japan last winter, I often saw Japanese people who were wearing those at the airport in Japan. Ultra Light Down Jackets are very light weight and keep you warm more than you expect. In addition, you can easily carry it in its compact pouch.

    When my husband and I were living in Japan, we purchased their clothing many times. You can find Uniqlo branches everywhere in Japan! If truth be told, I have purchased some while traveling in abroad too, such as Shanghai and Paris.

    Even though they will open the new branch here in Southern California, I still recommend you to go to Uniqlo in Japan if you are planning on traveling there. It's because Uniqlo in Japan has wide selections of their clothing. Specifically, they have many interesting tees which are only released in Japan with pretty reasonable price. :)

Uniqlo Haul

When my husband and I traveled to Japan about three months ago, I bought some clothing at Uniqlo. I know it has been a while since we came back to the U.S., but I'd like to share with you what I got there.

As I mentioned in my previous entry, I really wanted to purchase white jeans and a skirt there. However, when I was in Japan, I hesitated to purchase anymore clothing because I had purchased a lot of clothing with great deals in the U.S. last year. Then, I realized that getting jeans at Uniqlo in Japan was a good idea because I could get jeans shortened for free at Uniplo, so I could buy jeans with my perfect size. :) 

Uniqlo Skinny Fit Straight Jeans

These white jeans were originally 3990 yen, but they were on sale for 2990 yen. These day, I have often worn the jeans, and I am glad that I purchased them in Japan. The white color is perfect for spring outfit. I love them! :) When I took them to a cashier, they nicely asked me if I needed to get them shortened. It took 20 minutes to shorten the jeans for free. That's why I love Uniqlo.

When I was in Japan, I couldn't find any skirt at Uniplo. I think that it was because most women in Japan preferred to wear pants during winter due to extremely cold weather.

However, I found another great deal because of cold weather. I purchased two belly warmers. They were originally 990 yen each, but they were on sale for 490 yen each. :) I have never seen a belly warmer here, but in Japan, it is pretty popular among women and old people during winter. Because if your back is chilled, you are more likely to have backaches. That's why people with backaches want to protect their back from cold weather, and so do I. :)

On the way to Japan, we stopped by Shanghai. My husband bought a long sleeve plaid shirt at Uniqlo in Shanghai. I forgot how much it was, but I think that we purchased it with a great deal. Surely, he loves it.

I've been checking the blog of Reiko Takagaki, who is a famous Japanese fashion model, and I found some clothing which I want to buy in Japan.

She has been sharing her daily fashion on her blog. (This photo is from her blog.)

In this photo, she is wearing a shirt from GAP, white jeans from Uniqlo and boots from Christian Louboutin and holding a bag from Givenchy.

I thought these Uniqlo white jeans are very stylish and are easy to coordinate because white is neutral color. Thus I'd like to purchase the same jeans that she is wearing  when I visit Japan this year. It's because Uniqlo sells many casual clothing at reasonable price and I can afford to buy one. :)

These Uniqlo jeans are available to purchase online in the U.S. Their online shopping site opened last month. Comparing to Uniqlo in Japan, they have less article of clothing; however, I was glad that I can buy Uniqlo clothing at almost same price with as in Japan even though I live in the U.S. :)

Some Uniqlo clothing was made with Japanese famous fashion magazine which she is a contracted model for. In August 2012, the Uniqlo event for collaboration clothing with the fashion magazine took place in Ginza.

I became interested in this pleated skirt. :) This skirt was originally 1,990yen ($24.88), but it is on sale for 1,290 yen ($16.21) now. It's unbelievably reasonable. :) Sadly, this skirt is not selling online in the U.S.

This skirt seems very popular now because these were on fashion magazine. However, most color were already sold out, and black one is only available online in Japan now. I'd like to go Uniqlo in Japan two months from now, but I was afraid that these might be sold out completely at that time. Should I purchase one online now? Hmmm...
