Vintage Charm Inspired by Pyrex at Target & Macy's

Last weekend, while I was shopping at my local Target, I found that there were cute opal glass mixing bowls!

They looked like Vintage Pyrex, so I first thought they were another Pyrex limited edition! That's why I thought I should buy some since I am really satisfied with my Pyrex products. However, they were actually named Vintage Charm Inspired by Pyrex and were the products of World Kitchen, which also manufactures Pyrex products now. While Pyrex products are made in USA, these Vintage Charm products are made in China. Unlike Pyrex products, these Vintage Charm mixing bowls can not be used in the oven. Despite the fact that they might not be truly Pyrex, they are still very pretty, and the designs were inspired by Vintage Pyrex, so I decided to purchase some. :)

The following day, my husband and I went to Macy's and found Vintage Charm products.

Goodwill Haul - Vintage Pyrex Casseroles, Forest Fancies, Forest Mushroom, Brown Forest

As I mentioned in my previous entry, my husband and I went to Goodwill and purchased Fire King plates. In addition to those, I finally got these vintage Pyrex Forest Fancies casseroles because these were in surprisingly good condition!

Target Haul - Pyrex Limited Edition 100th Anniversary Measuring Cups

As I mentioned in my previous entry, I had purchased some Pyrex 100th Anniversary products. Today, I finally got these Pyrex 1-cup measuring cups. I know that I own too many measuring cups, but actually, I use measuring cups everyday. I often make Frappuccino syrup and store the syrup in measuring cups in the refrigerator. Because Pyrex measuring cup is made of glass, I can cover it with plastic wrap perfectly. Since it has a pour spout, I can pour the syrup into blender without spilling.

Target Haul - Pyrex Limited Edition 100th Anniversary Products

As I mentioned in my previous entry, I finally got Pyrex 100th anniversary items at my local Target. :)
You might know that I just bought a set of 18-piece Pyrex storage containers at Macy's a few weeks ago, but after that I found that Pyrex released limited edition items in vibrant colors for their 100 year anniversary. Those colorful designs are inspired by vintage Pyrex. When I first saw their 100th anniversary items, I couldn't resist buying them. I'm going to share what I bought at Target with you. :)

I bought these two Pyrex 2-cup 100th Anniversary Measuring Cups, Turquoise and Blue. If truth be told, I have 6 Pyrex measuring cups now. :) Since I make coffee every morning, I use them to boil water in the microwave every day. Because I have Pyrex measuring cups, I don't need a kettle at all. In addition, I use them for measuring when I make homemade Frappuccino, ice cream, Japanese curry, miso soup and so on. They released three different sizes of 100th anniversary measuring cups such as 1-cup (white and green), 2-cup (turquoise and blue) and 4-cup (red). Frankly, I wanted all of them, but I ended up purchasing these two because I didn't have any 2-cup measuring cup before.

These colorful dot containers are so cute! I would like to make delicious meals for these adorable containers.

      Pyrex also released their limited edition 100th anniversary pie plate and portable bag. You can still get those items at Target or Pyrex Website. :)

Getting Pyrex Limited Edition 100th Anniversary Products at Target

Today, my husband and I went to Target to get Pyrex limited edition 100th anniversary products. These have been pretty popular since these popped up in the end of March. Some of limited products were already sold out there. Indeed, we went to two Target branches to get what we really wanted.

Macy's Haul - Pyrex 18 Piece Simply Store Set with Colored Lids

I was always looking for a great deal on Pyrex storage containers because my plastic containers were worn out. I thought that it's time to make the switch to glass containers. A week ago, I finally found a great deal on Pyrex on Macy's. This Pyrex 18 Piece Simply Store Set with Colored Lids was originally $79.99 but was on sale for $29.99. After using a $10 off coupon with purchasing over $25, this ended up being $19.99! I also got a $1.60 cashback from Ebates.com. When my husband and I picked up our order at Macy's, the sales clerk was really impressed at this price. :)

The reason why I like Pyrex container is so durable. I can make homemade ice cream and store them in freezer. I can also use them as bakewares. I can enjoy cooking with Pyrex containers more than before. :)

Kohl's Haul - Pyrex Cooking Solved 12-pc. Glass Mixing Bowl Set with Color Lids

Last Sunday, my husband and I went to Kohl's because my $5 reward would expire in a week, so I wanted to use it before it expires.

At their clearance section, he found this 12-piece-Pyrex bowl set. It was originally $45.99 but was marked at a reduced price of 70% discount. We used my $5 reward and a 20% off coupon, so it ended up being $7.03! I think it was an incredibly great deal!
