Costco Beauty Haul - DERMAdoctor Kakadu C Serum and SIGMA Makeup Brushes

This month, I've ordered two beauty products from Costco and really love them. Today, I'm going to share what I purchased from Costco with you.

In my previous entry, DERMAdoctor Kakadu C 20% Vitamin C Serum, My New Favorite Beauty Serum! , I wrote about DEAMAdoctor vitamin C serum. Since last year, I've applied two drops of this serum on my face twice a day. I really love vitamin C serum because it minimizes my skin pores and improves my skin elasticity. I've used up two bottles and really wanted to purchase more.

This time, I ordered this set of SIGMA Makeup Brushes for my first time. I remembered that most beauty YouTubers recommended Sigma brushes and Beautyblender many years ago, and those are still very popular though. At that time, they said that Sigma makeup brushes were less expensive and worked as excellent as expensive MAC makeup brushes. I've never used any MAC brush, but I really love my Sigma brushes now.

This set included the Small Angle Brush E65, Tapered Blending Brush E40, and Eye Shading Brush E55.

I use this Sigma Small Angle Brush E65 for eyebrow makeup. I apply eyebrow powder, KATE Designing Eyebrow, with its attached eyebrow brush and this E65.

SIGMA Tapered Blending Brush E40

I really love this Sigma Tapered Blending Brush E40. The bristles of E40 are long and very soft. It blends out eye shadow very well.

SIGMA Eye Shading Brush E55

I use this Sigma Eye Shading Brush E55 for applying eye shadow under my eyes. It's soft but stiff enough to shade.

【Hike】Aliso Peak Trail in Laguna Niguel - Hidden Gem in Orange County

The Summit of Aliso Peak

This month, my husband and I have decided to go to Aliso Peak to enjoy hiking. We found this trail in the book, 50 Hikes in Orange County, which I purchased to enjoy Orange County hikes.

Tips for Walking on Aliso Peak Trail and Toovet Trail.
・Apply sunscreen on entire body.
・Wear sunglasses and hat.
・Drink water often.
・You can bring your dogs.
・It's moderately easy trails.

・There are a number of picnic tables.

Parking

It was very easy to find a parking space along the street, Talavera Dr.

After parking, I was amazed at the view from Seaview Park.

Trail Hour

November 1st through February 28th : 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

March 1st through October 31st : 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The trail starts from the west end of Seaview Park.

It was a very quiet trail. At the beginning of this hiking, we didn't see any people there. Seriously, I asked my husband what we would do if we encountered a mountain lion. (Later, we saw few hikers there.)

There are some picnic benches you can sit and relax. You can enjoy beautiful views of canyon and Aliso Beach located in Laguna Beach.

Then, we went down the narrow steeply downhill. It was short but really challenging for us, so you'd better to wear reliable hiking shoes or sneakers in order not to slip.

Then, you will see many luxury houses along the street, St Tropez, on your left.

On your right, you will see the golf course of the Ranch at Laguna Beach and beautiful beaches.

We walked toward the top of Aliso Peak.

We kept hiking on Aliso Peak trail, which is easy one. Valido trail is difficult one.

Toovet trail and Aliso Peak trail are easy. We kept going up toward the summit of Aliso Peak.

We went up these railroad-tie steps to the top of Aliso Peak.

When you get the summit of Aliso Peak, you will be rewarded with amazing views. There are a bench you can sit and take the view. You might watch whales and dolphins from there.

Then, we decided to try this easy Toovet Trail, a quarter-mile path that goes around Aliso Peak.

From the Toovet Trail, you will see many incredibly expensive houses in Laguan Beach.

Then, we went back, and we were still able to enjoy the view of Laguna Beach from the trail.

The Seaview Park

There were some adorable wild rabbits and squirrels on the grass of the Seaview Park.

We really enjoyed hiking on Aliso Peak Trail and Toovet Trail. I can say that it was one of the most beautiful hike in Orange County. Someday, I will try Valido Trail, which is difficult one.
