Myojo Chukazanmai, The Best Japanese Instant Noodles!

Myojo Chukazanmai
As I mentioned in my previous entry, my husband and I bought these instant noodles, Myojo Chukazanmai, at a Japanese supermarket a week ago. Myojo is one of the most famous Japanese food processing companies and was established in 1950. Since then, they have been making many popular instant noodle products in Japan. I have tried so many Myojo noodles since I was child. I love their Ippeichan Yakisoba, Charumera Tonkotsu Ramen, and so on. They first started selling Chukazanmai in 1981, and its series have so many positive reviews on both Amazon Japan and Amazon US. This time, I purchased Chukazanmai Ryanmen and Chukazanmai Shisen Style Miso Ramen. Last week, he cooked these instant ramen noodles as our midnight snacks. :)

Myojo Chukazanmai Ryanmen, Hiyashi Chuka Instant Cold Noodles
Myojo Chukazanmai Ryanmen is hiyashi chuka, a Japanese chilled ramen noodles. He topped it with sliced tamagoyaki, cucumbers and ham. The texture of noodles was not instant one! It's like real noodles. This was very refreshing and so delicious! :)

Myojo Chukazanmai, Shisen Style Miso Ramen, Miso Soybean Paste Flavor
This was Myojo Chukazanmai Shisen Style Ramen. He topped it with ham, egg and green onions. Again, the texture of this noodles was like real noodles! As a matter of fact, we barely go to ramen restaurants in the U.S. because in most of times, we are not satisfied with the firmness of noodles restaurants serve. Americanized Japanese ramen restaurants serve extra soft nooldes which we don't really like. Since we grew up in Fukuoka, where is the most famous prefecture for tonkotsu ramen in Japan, we are pretty picky when it comes to ramen. That's why we would rather have instant ramen noodles at home than have ramen noodles at restaurant in the U.S. We can control the firmness of noodles by cooking at home. This Chukazanmai ramen tasted really authentic. :) We thought this was one of the best instant ramen noodles we have ever tried!

Actually, when we lived in Japan, we didn't have Myojyo Chukazanmai because Chukazanmai series are usually more expensive than ordinarily Japanese instant noodles. There are so many great instant ramen products with very affordable prices in Japan. However, we noticed that Chukazanmai series are so delicious beyond our expectation. When we find Chukazanmai noodles are on sale at Japanese supermarkets, we will definitely purchase them again! If you love Chukazanmai ramen, I also recommend you to try Nissin Raoh and Maruchan Seimen, which are also very popular instant noodles in Japan.
