How to Make Chicken Cacciatore, Italian Dish

       Tonight, I cooked chicken cacciatore for dinner. I liked this Italian dish because it contains a lot of vegetable such as onions, tomatoes, and green peppers. Today, I'm going to share how to make it with you. :)
How to Make Chicken Cacciatore, Italian Dish

Ingredients (serves 6)

2 tablespoons of olive oil
12 chicken thighs
2 onions (sliced)
2 garlic cloves (chopped)
3 green bell pepper (sliced)
6 oz of mushrooms (sliced)
1 teaspoons of dried oregano
150 ml of red wine
1 large can of chopped tomatoes
2 tablespoons of tomato paste
1 cup of chicken broth
nip of salt and black pepper
parsley leaves (for garnish)


1. Heat the oil in a large pan over a high heat. Saute the chicken until browned both sides.

2. Reduce the heat, and add onions, garlic, bell peppers. Saute them for 3 minutes.

3. Add the mushrooms, oregano and wine. Bring to the boil and simmer for 3 minutes.

4. Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, and chicken broth. Bring to the boil and simmer for 30 minutes until the sauce is rich and thick.

5. Season with salt and pepper. Serve and garnish with parsley.

6. Enjoy!
