They were also selling DHC Deep Cleansing Oil for $25. Amazon sells them for $25.99.
I also found they were selling Shiseido Perfect Whip, which is face cleansing products. When I lived in Japan, I often bought them at drug stores because it was usually on sale for around $4. While most American cleansing products don't need to foam up, most Japanese products needs to do. It's because Japanese people believe that washing face without rubbing is the most gently way to clean your face. So Japanese people prefer to wash their face with lather. This way, you don't have to put cleansing products on your face directly and you don't have to use excess amount of cleansing product. Just foam up with bit of it, and wash your face with foam.
This products can be made very thick creamy form. I liked that.
Amazon sells them for $4.99. That's cheaper than at Japanese supermarket! I read review on this products, and this has excellent reviews.

Hello, Miss Piece Of Cake!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog today when searching for reviews of Shiseido Perfect Whip. Many thanks for your information. I have ordered it, along with Senka Labo Lotion. Because of sensitive and a bit oily skin, I wanted to see if perhaps Japanese products may help, as I have tried many American products, and with variable results. I very much enjoyed reading your reviews. Also, congratulations on a very creative, excellent way of improving language skills-you are doing very, very well!! I think many americans need to improve their english, but are too lazy! Thank you again. Much luck in your future endeavors.
Sincerely,
j.t.
Thank you for your comment. :)
DeleteI am glad that you enjoyed reading this entry. I have been using Shiseido Perfect Whip for so many years and really love its very thick creamy form. If Daiso, Japanese 100 yen store, is located in near your home, you should get a Japanese foaming net there (if you don't have one yet) . You can create lather with it and wash your face with super creamy lather. I hope Shiseido Perfect Whip will work well for your skin. :)
Thanks again.
