Yesterday, my husband and I cooked tonkatsu, deep fried pork cutlets, for dinner. He made special sauce for tonkatsu, and it was so good! We also cooked miso soup, shredded cabbage and kofuki-imo, boiled potatoes. Tonkatsu is usually served with shredded cabbage, boiled rice and miso soup, so our dinner turned out to be tonkatsu teisyoku. (Teisyoku in Japanese means combo.) I prefer to eating Japanese cuisine at home to eating out. It's because we can cook authentic Japanese foods. :)
