Cooking Kasujiru - For the First Time in Many Years

      I bought sake kasu at a Japanese supermarket yesterday and cooked kasujiru tonight. If truth be told, my husband didn't use to like sake kasu. That's why I didn't make kasujiru for over 10 years or so even though I like kasujiru. However, he told me that he might like it, and I decided to cook it for the first time in over a decade. He really liked it. :) Food preference changes as you grow up. For instance, when I was a child, I didn't like bitter melon, but now it is one of my favorite vegetables. :)
      I will share how to cook kasujiru next time.
