Muji Whitening Beauty Serum - My New Favorite Skincare Product!

If you are following my blog for years, you might have already known how much I love Muji skincare products. As I mentioned in my previous entry, My Best Keshosui, Muji Light Toning Water, some of Muji beauty products are hidden gems!

I'm currently using Muji Light Toning Water Moisture (Keshosui, 化粧水), Muji Moisturrising Milk High Moisture (Nyueki, 乳液) and Muji Moisturising Essence (Beauty Serum, 美容液). In addition, I use Clinique All About Eyes Cream for around eye area, and use Nivea Sun Water Gel SPF35 for sun protection. (By the way, sun protection is very important to delay the skin aging process.)

As I mentioned in my previous entry, 7 Products I Purchased at Muji Store in Japan - Muji Haul, when I visited Japan about six months ago, I purchased this Muji Moisturising Essence, whitening beauty serum, for my first time. It's because it was chosen one of the best whitening beauty serum by LDK the Beauty Magazine, Japanese beauty magazine. According to LDK the Beauty Magazine, this beauty serum was made of great ingredients for your skin such as vitamin C, glycyrrhizic acid 2K and hyaluronic acid.

It's been about two months since I started using this one twice a day. After applying Muji Light Toning Water, I apply a tiny amount of this whitening beauty serum on dark spots on my skin. I've noticed that it gradually fades dark spots. I cannot believe that it actually works! This Muji whitening serum is my favorite now!

The Order to Apply My Skincare Products (DAY and Night)
1. Muji Light Toning Water (無印良品化粧水敏感肌用しっとりタイプ)
2. eye cream
3. Muji Moisturising Essence (無印良品敏感肌用薬用美白美容液), whitening beauty serum
4. Muji Light Toning Water (無印良品化粧水敏感肌用しっとりタイプ) (Yes, it's the second coat, but you can skip this.)
5. (5 to 10 minutes later) Muji Moisturising Milk High Moisture (無印良品乳液・敏感肌用高保湿タイプ)
6. sunscreen (daytime only)

    If truth be told, I didn't expect too much about Muji whitening serum at first because Shiseido Haku, high-end whitening serum, did not work for me even though many people love Shiseido Haku. (When I was younger, I used up two bottles of Shiseido Haku whitening serum, but I didn't notice much difference. However, beauty products have been improving every year, so now it might work though.)

    I was very surprised that Muji whitening serum, which is way cheaper than Shiseido Haku, works for me.

   After that, I read many reviews on Muji whitening serum in Japanese and found that it actually worked for many people too. Although some people say that it didn't have any whitening effect for them. However, since it's very affordable, it's worth a try. Indeed, it did work for me. 😉 If you are in Japan and look for affordable whitening serum, you should try Muji one too! You can find this one at most Muji stores in Japan.

     I am not sure when I can fly to Japan next time because we don't know when the coronavirus pandemic ends. I should have bought more of it in Japan last time. When I go to Japan next time, I will definitely buy two more bottles of Muji whitening serum. 😁
