My Shopping List for Japanese Beauty Products - What I Want to Get in Japan

This month, my husband and I are finally going to visit Japan. While staying in Japan, I would like to purchase many Japanese products like always we did in previous years. You can check out what we purchased in Japan from my Japan Haul entries.

I just listed these beauty products I really want to purchase in Japan. Some of them are my all-time favorite products, and some of them are the products I've shared with you in my Best Japanese Beauty Product entries. If you are planning on visiting Japan and have no idea what you should get there, I recommend you to try these products I listed below. :)

Makeup Remover : When I visited Japan last time, I purchased Bifesta Cleansing Sheet Bright Up, Japanese makeup removing wipes, at Donki, a Japanese discount store, and I really loved it! I was impressed that it removed makeup and moisturized my skin at the same time. I will definitely purchase one again, and I will use it while staying in Japan because makeup removing wipes are really convenient for travel. :) I am also interested in Chifure Washable Cold Cream because it's very popular in Japan now. However, I heard that Chifure one is difficult to find at stores now because it's explosively popular.

Facial Cleanser : Currently, I'm using my homemade soap to wash my face everyday. It's very gentle to my skin and is the best soap I've ever used. That's why, this time, I just want to purchase enzyme powder cleanser for deep cleansing. Fancl Deep Clear Washing Powder have won many beauty awards in Japan this year, so I really want to try one. :)

Keshosui, Japanese Moisturizing Lotion : I've been using Muji Light Toning Water for many years. It hydrates my skin very well and is very affordable in Japan. Indeed, Muji Light Toning Water is about three times more expensive in the U.S. than ones in Japan. I cannot wait to go shopping at Muji in Japan. Sunscreens : I've tried many sunscreens in the U.S., but I couldn't find better sunscreen here than ones Japan has. I usually wear Japanese sunscreen with SPF around 30 because SPF30 is effective enough for daily use and is more gentle than high SPF sunscreen. That's why I want to purchase Nivea Sun Water Gel SPF35 for daily use. I also want to purchase a sunscreen with SPF50+ for long hours outdoor activities such as hiking. I love Kanebo Allie sunscreen.

Face Mask : This time, I want to purchase many facial sheet masks in Japan. When I visited Japan last time, I purchased very popular Keana Nadeshiko Rice Mask and really loved it. Although it was very hard to find one back then because it's in high demand. I hope it's easier to find ones now but this year, Keana Nadeshiko Rice Mask has also won many beauty awards in Japan. It's still very popular now. I also love Saborino morning face mask and want to purchase one (maybe premium one or red/pink one). In addition, I also purchase some other new face masks in Japan.

Toothbrushes : I really love Japanese compact toothbrushes such as Systema Toothbrushes and Shumitekuto Toothbrushes because bristles of these toothbrushes are extremely thin, so the bristles can reach deep between gum and teeth. :) My Korean friend's family loves Systema toothbrushes. A few years ago, I gave some Systema toothbrushes for my friend's family, and they fell in love with Systema ones. She asked me if I could purchase more toothbrushes for them when I or my husband have a chance to go to Japan, so I will purchase some for her family. ;) Last time, I purchase Shumitekuto toothbrushes for myself and I really love them as mush as I love Systema toothbrushes.

Japanese Sanitary Pads and Pantyliners : Japanese sanitary pads are very well made and also very popular for Asian foreign tourists. Last time I visited Japan, I saw many Asian women bought up a lot of them in a drugstore in Tokyo (Each woman was buying more than 10 to 20 packages of sanitary pads at a time!). Even when I have a heavy period, I don't feel wet with wearing a Japanese pad because it instantly absorbs blood and stays dry. Japanese paper products are always very affordable and very popular for foreign tourists such as baby diapers, facial tissue and sanitary pads. I will purchase some sanitary pads and pantyliners in Japan. You can purchase these at most drugstores in Japan, but I will probably purchase them on Amazon Japan because I guess they are cheaper than ones selling at most stores just like before.
