13 Best Japanese Products I Purchased on Amazon Japan! - Beauty, Kitchen and Stationery Items

My husband and I traveled Japan for eight days this winter. Four days before we flew to Tokyo from Los Angeles, we ordered some items on Amazon Japan. On the day we arrived Tokyo, we picked up our items at a convenience store located near a hotel we stayed. It only took us one minute by walk from the hotel to the convenience store. We thought Amazon convenience store pickup service was very useful for us since we don't live in Japan now. Anyway, today, I'm going to share with you 13 Japanese products I ordered on Amazon Japan. These are very popular and highly rated on Amazon Japan. If you are in Japan, you can purchase these products in-store as well. :)

As I mentioned in my previous entry, The Best Japanese Shampoo And Conditioner Won Beauty Awards in Japan - Kao Asience Meguri, Asience Meguri is highly rated Japanese shampoo from Kao and has won many beauty awards in Japan. I found that Amazon Japan was selling its trial set (shampoo, dense jelly and conditioner) for just 130yen, so I decided to purchase three trial sets of Asience Meguri. :)
In Japan, some drugstores and supermarkets carry Asience Meguri products (full-sized ones and trial set ones). If you go to smaller drugstores, you probably cannot find Asience Meguri. I found it at Matsumotokiyoshi drugstores and some supermarkets in Tokyo. I also found it at Mori drugstores in Fukuoka.

Kao Asience Meguri

Many Japanese people reviews that Meguri truly improves their hair texture. If you have thick Asian hair like me, you might want to try this product. :) Even though Meguri is more expensive than regular hair care products, it is more affordable than ones Japanese professional hair salons sell.

Tofu Love Professional Makeup Sponge has been popular in Japan these years. I've been using Beautyblender for many years and love it so much, but I decided to try this Tofu Love sponge because the 2-piece pack was only 407yen! :)
During traveling Japan, I didn't see this product at any store, so I'm glad that I ordered it from Amazon Japan. :) Now, it's very hard to find this product, but if you are lucky, you can find it at Tokyu Hands, Loft and few drugstores in Japan.

I wanted to purchase powder sunscreen because it's easy to reapply over makeup. ;) As I mentioned in my previous entry, Top 3 Japanese Powder Sunscreens, there are some popular Japanese powder sunscreen. Because Allie is one of my favorite sunscreen brand when I lived in Japan, I finally decided to purchase Allie one. :) (By the way, if you never want to get a tan in the super strong summer sun, I recommend you to try Kanebo Allie Sunscreen and Shiseido Anessa Sunscreen which truly work! However, you might don't need high SPF sunscreen unless you go to beaches or enjoy outside sports in my opinion.)

As I mentioned in my previous entry, The Best Japanese Blackhead Remover - Meishoku Pore Clear Blackhead Removing Gel, I've seen this product in Japanese beauty article, so I decided to purchase one. ;) It's warming gel to help to remove blackheads. It contains orange oil, which cleanses pores, and ghassoul, which absorbs dirt from pores. Warming gel opens up pores, and orange oil and ghassoul dissolve and remove stubborn cloggers.

Last time, I got Awayuki (white one), extra soft body wash cloth, and I really loved it. It was super soft and so gentle! I was going to purchase Awayuki again, but I found that Awa Star has so many positive reviews on Amazon Japan as well, so I decided to try Awa Star wash cloth extra soft (yellow one) this time. I already used it during traveling Japan. It's very soft! However, compared to Awayuki, it's not as soft as Awayuki one.

This is the largest microwavable Japanese warmer (approximately 14 x 9 inches). I own some Japanese microwavable warmers, but now this is my favorite one! When I go to a bed with this warmer, it helps me to fall asleep. :)

How to Warm It Up
1. Fold it in two. Then place it in a microwave oven.
2. With using a 1000W microwave oven, microwave it for two minutes.
3. Turn it over. Then, microwave it for another two minutes.

In addition, some Japanese toothbrushes such as Systema Toothbrushes have extremely thin bristles as you can see the photo below, so the bristles can reach deep between gum and teeth.

Japanese sanitary pads are very well made and very popular for Asian foreign tourists. Indeed, I saw many Asian women bought up a lot of them in a drugstore in Tokyo (Each woman was buying more than 10 to 20 packages of sanitary pads at a time!).

Even when I have a heavy period, I don't feel wet with wearing a Japanese pad because it instantly absorbs blood and stays dry. About a year ago, I bought a lot of pads and pantyliners, so there are still several packages left in my home. :) This time, I purchased four packages of sanitary pads for night time.

I really love Marna Bento Box Brush! About 10 years ago, I purchased this adorable brush at Francfranc in Japan. Since then, I've been using it almost every day. It's a brush for a bento box, but I use it to wash dirty dishes and pans. I was glad that I found it on Amazon Japan. It's pretty hard to find one in store now. I checked Tokyu Hands and Loft in Tokyo, but I couldn't find this one. Even if you live in Japan, I recommend you to order it online rather than purchasing it in store.
