Japanese Bread Haul - Lawson Convenience Store in Japan

Japanese Bread Haul
As I mentioned in my previous entry, my husband went on his business trip to Yokohama (横浜), Japan last month. I really love Japanese bread because it is fluffy and tastes so good. That's why when we visit Japan, we always purchase some bread at supermarkets or convenience stores. This time, he purchased some breads at Lawson convenience store located in Haneda Airport, Tokyo International Airport, before he flew back to the U.S. Today, I'm going to share what he purchased there with you. :)

1. Mini Cream Pan (ミニクリームパン)
5 Pieces for 100yen
Mini Cream Pan (ミニクリームパン)
He purchased this Mini Cream Pan (ミニクリームパン) at Lawson because he couldn't find custard cream ningyoyaki which I wanted to have, so he wanted to purchase something custard cream. I also love these small buns which had custard cream in it. When I was a child, I sometimes had these as snack at home after school. In Japan, you can find these small buns at most supermarkets and convenience stores. You can choose sweetened red bean paste ones (anpan), custard cream ones, chocolate cream ones and peanut cream ones.

The bun was fluffy and custard cream was pretty good. Can you believe that Mini Cream Pan has 5 buns and is only 100 yen?

He also purchased this Mocchi Cream Donut (モッチ クリームドーナツ). This was a deep-fried bun which had custard cream in it. This cream donut was not greasy and tasted good. :)  When I was in high school in Japan, I really loved an-donut (あんドーナツ) which is deep-fried anpan. (Anpan is a bun which has sweetened red bean paste in it.)
