Review : Conrad Tokyo Breakfast Buffet - Cerise

As I mentioned in my previous entry, Hotel Room Tour and Review - Conrad Tokyo in Japan, my husband and I stayed in Conrad Tokyo for one night in 2022.

After we worked out at their fitness center, we had breakfast at Cerise, a restaurant located on the 28th floor. Their breakfast usually costs 5,000 yen per person, but we were able to have breakfast (10,000 yen) for free because he had Hilton Diamond Status.

Breakfast Buffet
Monday through Friday : 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday : 7 to 10:30 a.m.

There were large windows, and it was nice and bright. We were amazed at the beautiful views of Tokyo cityscape through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

At first, we were asked about drink (coffee or tea). The waitress told us that in addition to the breakfast buffet, we could also choose one dish per person from the menu.

I ordered this fricassee lobster omelette, which is the most popular one in their breakfast menu. The omelette was nice and fluffy. The lobster was plump and so delicious.

He chose this truffle eggs benedict. The poached egg was rich and creamy. The truffle had aromatic flavor.

The breakfast buffet had plenty of Japanese, Chinese and Western foods we could choose from.

There were many kinds of fruit.

There were chia seeds yogurt parfait and panna cotta.

There were many kinds of fluffy bread we could choose from.

I was glad that they had many kinds of Japanese foods including natto!

The red ones were karashi mentaiko (辛子明太子), spicy pollock roes, which is my favorite.

There were grilled atka mackerels (ほっけ) and deep fried fish cake (さつま揚げ).

We wanted to eat Japanese foods and ended up eating a lot there that morning. By the way, the egg with dashi soup in the small bowl was called onsen tamago (温泉玉子) in Japanese. It's a traditional Japanese low temperature boiled egg.

We also had desserts and fruit as well. We were really full. :)

After having breakfast, we checked out at Executive Lounge on the 37th floor. We had cups of fresh coffee there. Meanwhile, Conrad Tokyo staffs helped us to move our suite cases to the taxi.

Then, we headed toward Hilton Tokyo Shinjuku. Next time, I will write about it.
