Review: Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk Executive Lounge – Cocktail Time Experience

As I mentioned in a previous entry, my husband and I traveled to Japan last year and had the pleasure of staying at three different hotels during our visit to Fukuoka: Hotel Front Inn Fukuoka Airport, ANA Crowne Plaza Fukuoka, and Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk. Actually, this was our second stay at the Hilton Fukuoka. We also stayed here two years ago and had a great time.

During our stay at the Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk last year, we visited the Executive Lounge located on the 33rd floor. Guests staying in Executive Rooms or Suites, or those with Hilton Honors Diamond status, have access to the Lounge and can enjoy complimentary food and drinks during Cocktail Hour.

Cocktail Time

We visited the Executive Lounge during Cocktail Time, which runs from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The lounge offered a generous assortment of small bites and appetizers.

Simmered Chicken and Kabocha

Mustard Stuffed Lotus

Spicy Beef and Rice Noodles

Cold Meat

Dried Fruits, Crackers and Home-made Pickles

Braised Hakata Chicken and Navy Beans with Tomato

Seasonal Salad

Salad Dressing and Toppings

Desserts and Cheese

Cereal Bread Made of Fukuoka Flour, Pumpkin and Cheese Rolls, and Chocolate Brioche

Earl Grey, Green Tea, Darjeeling Tea, Peppermint Tea, Camomile Tea, and Rosehip & Hibiscus Tea

Nespresso Coffee Machine

The Lounge also featured a Nespresso machine stocked with a selection of coffee pods. I couldn’t resist brewing a fresh cup—the bold aroma and smooth warmth were just what I needed to recharge.

Wine

The bar area presented an impressive array of alcoholic beverages, from familiar international favorites to regional specialties. Wine, gin, vodka, whisky, tequila, and Japanese shochu were all available.

The view from the Executive Lounge was beautiful. We could see Hakata Bay and the PayPay Dome from the windows. There were different kinds of light meals to enjoy, like small plates and cold dishes. It was a nice way to relax after a long day. Since the breakfast the next morning was so delicious, having a light dinner felt just right.

At the end of the night, we had decaf coffee and some dessert while looking out the window. The city lights were beautiful. The peaceful view and the sweet treats made a perfect finish to our time in the lounge.

Our visit to the Executive Lounge was quiet, relaxing, and full of small comforts. It was a nice way to end a busy day in Fukuoka. Next time, I’ll share my experience with breakfast and the gym at Hilton Fukuoka Seahawk.
