Beyond Meatballs, Plant-Based Meatballs - How I Cooked Italian Style Meatballs with Tomato Sauce

      As I mentioned in my previous entry, Beyond Burger Plant-Basted Patties - It Tastes Like Real Meat!, Beyond Meat is plant-based meat but tastes like real meat. A few weeks ago, I found this Beyond Meat Italian Style Plant-Based Meatballs at my local grocery store and decided to purchase it.

      This contains 12 frozen meatballs made from pea protein.

      This time, I cooked meatballs with tomato sauce and it turned out so good! 😋 Today, I'm going to share with you how I cooked Beyond Meatballs. It's very easy to cook, so if you purchase frozen meatballs (whether it's plant-based or not), I hope that you can try this recipe.

How to Cook Italian Style Plant-Based Meatballs with Tomato Sauce


Ingredients (for 24 meatballs)
2 Tablespoons of Tonkatsu Sauce
3 Cloves of Garlic (Minced)
1/2 Cup of Red Wine
2 Tablespoons of Grated Parmesan Cheese
2 Packages of Beyond Meatballs

 

1. Put tomatoes, tonkatsu sauce, garlic, chicken bouillon powder, red wine and Parmesan cheese in a sauce pan. Simmer it for 10 minutes. 


 

 2. Add Beyond Meatballs in it and simmer it for another 10 minutes.


 

 3. Serve and enjoy!
