Hotel Room Tour and Review – Inside the Hilton Nagasaki Executive Deluxe Room

Hilton Nagasaki

As I mentioned in my previous entries, my husband and I traveled to Nagasaki, Japan, in the summer of 2025. One of the reasons we visited Nagasaki was that we wanted to stay at Hilton Nagasaki, which opened in 2021.

The wooden staircase from the first floor to the second floor is one of Hilton Nagasaki’s most iconic design features, with its warm wood tones and clean, modern lines. Designed by Hashimoto Yukio’s studio, it gives the lobby a calm, elegant atmosphere the moment you walk in.

At Hilton Nagasaki, we checked in at the lobby on the 2nd floor. We had originally booked the most budget‑friendly room, but thanks to my husband’s Hilton Honors Diamond status, we received an upgrade based on availability. This time, we were lucky to be upgraded to a Two Double Beds Executive Deluxe Room.

Some of the Perks of Hilton Honors Diamond Status

  • A complimentary continental breakfast for you and one registered guest each day of your stay. (Breakfast at this hotel costs 4,500 yen per person, so our 9,000‑yen meals were completely free.)

  • Executive Floor Lounge access, where you can enjoy complimentary drinks and light meals.

  • Space‑available upgrades to preferred rooms.

  • 1,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points per stay.

  • Premium Wi‑Fi.

Nagasaki Castella Pudding (長崎カステラぷりん)

We received a welcome gift bag, and inside were two packs of Nagasaki Castella Pudding (長崎カステラぷりん).

Two Double Beds Executive Deluxe Room (31 sq. m. / 336 sq. ft.)

Our Executive Deluxe Room was located on the 11th floor. My husband especially liked the wooden room key card.

Hilton Nagasaki opened in 2021, so the room was exceptionally clean and still had a faint brand‑new scent. The fresh atmosphere made the space feel calm and welcoming from the moment we walked in.

There was a Bose speaker on the bedside table, which added a nice touch to the room and made it easy for us to enjoy music during our stay.

From the window, you could see the Urakami River, JR Nagasaki Station, and the surrounding mountains, which made the space feel bright and open.

There was a granite table with two comfy chairs, creating a simple and cozy sitting area in the room.

Mini Bar

There was a mini bar counter equipped with a Nespresso coffee maker, which made it easy for us to enjoy a quick cup of coffee in the room.

Next to the coffee maker, there were two bottles of water provided for brewing, which was a thoughtful touch.

In the drawer of the mini bar counter, there were pairs of mugs, tea cups, and glasses neatly arranged. There were also packets of UCC drip coffee.

Pajamas and Robes

The drawers had two pairs of pajamas and robes, neatly prepared for our stay.

Sharp Air Purifier

Most Japanese hotels provide an air purifier, and this room was no exception. It came with a Sharp air purifier placed neatly in the corner.

Bathroom

The vanity was right next to the bedroom, making the space feel open and easy to use.

The vanity countertop was nice and spacious, giving us plenty of room to lay out our toiletries and get ready comfortably.

Crabtree & Evelyn

There were Crabtree & Evelyn cleansing hand wash and moisturizing body lotion placed on the countertop, adding a touch of luxury to the vanity area.

There were toothbrushes, cotton pads, hair ties, a shower cap, and a hair comb neatly prepared in the amenity tray.

I really loved the Japanese‑style bathtub, which is deeper than a typical American bathtub. Whenever I visit Japan, I enjoy taking a hot bath every night just like I used to when I lived here. It melts away the day’s fatigue and leaves your whole body feeling relaxed.

Crabtree & Evelyn

There were also Crabtree & Evelyn shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, all neatly arranged in the bathroom.

The bathroom is designed as an open space. When the sliding door is closed, the entire bathroom area can be hidden, giving the room a clean and private feel.

I really loved this room for its fresh, brand‑new feel and the quiet sense of luxury in every detail. It was the kind of space that made our stay feel calm, comfortable, and a little special.

Next time, I’ll write about the Executive Lounge, which was another highlight of our stay.
