Nivea Facial Pack - How Japanese People Use Nivea Creme

     Classic Nivea cream in blue tin, Nivea Creme, is the longest-selling skincare cream which was first released in Germany over 100 years ago. Nivea expanded to become a global brand, so you can find Nivea products in many countries now. In Japan, Kao, one of the largest Japanese cosmetic companies, has been selling Nivea products since 1968.

Creme De La Mer

       Several years ago, some people found that ingredients of Nivea Creme and Creme De La Mer are very close. You know that Nivea Creme is very affordable skincare cream. Creme De La Mer is high-end cream which costs about $170 for 1 oz. Since then, it has been featured on some Japanese beauty magazines and TV shows indeed. That's why Nivea Creme has been receiving attention as an affordable skincare cream which performs similar to high-end one. Nivea Creme used to be classic skincare cream for body, but now more people in Japan buy it as facial skincare cream. People in Japan started to share Nivea Creme beauty hacks online. Some Japanese people use Nivea Creme as facial pack. Some people use Nivea Creme to remove makeup, and some people use it as haircare product to make their hair beautiful. Especially, Nivea facial pack is pretty popular in Japan. I also found that some Japanese celebrities also use Nivea Creme this way from their blogs. Today, I'm going to share with you how to use Nivea Creme as a facial pack. 


How to Nivea Facial Pack
1. After washing your face, apply plenty (about 1 to 2 tablespoons) of Nivea Creme on your face.
2. Leave steamed hot towel on your face for 10 minutes. (You can make a steamed hot towel with a microwave oven. Put a damp towel in a plastic bag, and microwave it for 30 to 60 seconds.)
3. Then, wipe excess Nivea cream with the towel and rinse your face with lukewarm water. 

How to Nivea Facial Pack in A Bathtub
1. After washing your face, apply plenty of Nivea Creme on your face.
2. Soak in a bathtub for 10 to 15 minutes.
3. Then, wipe excess Nivea cream with a damp towel and rinse your face with lukewarm water.   

Nivea Creme

      Does Nivea Creme work just as well as high-end cream? I don't think so, but I think it's worth a try. :) However, if you have oily skin, you might want to skip Nivea Creme for your facial skin.
