Seal Beach Pier - Seal Beach, CA

Last month, I purchased this book, 50 Hikes in Orange County, to enjoy Orange County hikes. This book has information on 50 hiking trails in Orange County. I hope that I will have completed all 50 hikes this book recommends in 5 years or so. ;)

This month, my husband and I went to Seal Beach to try our first hike from this book. According to 50 Hikes in Orange County, there are sea turtles in San Gabriel River located in between Seal Beach and Long Beach! Like always, we brought our cameras, Canon PowerShot SX50 HS and Canon EOS Rebel SL1 with telephoto zoom lens, Canon EF-S 55-250mm IS STM to take beautiful photos. :)

Before going to San Gabriel River trail, we went to Seal Beach Pier. We used to participate Long Beach Walking Meetup every Sunday years ago, and our friends from the Meetup recommended this pier to us. It's been years since we visited Seal Beach Pier last time. It's a beautiful beach to walk around, and the Old Town Seal Beach has many stores and restaurants along Main street.

It was a very hot summer day, and the beach was very crowded.

After visiting Seal Beach Pier, we headed toward San Gabriel River to see sea turtles. I'll write about it next time.
