3 Best Places to Photograph Tokyo Tower - New Year's Japan Travel Day 6

     My husband and I traveled Japan during New Year's holidays. As I mentioned in my previous entry, we went to Tokyo Tower, which is one of must go to places in Tokyo, Japan. I love looking up at the beautiful Tokyo Tower from the bottom of it. When you are in Tokyo, you can see Tokyo Tower from many places such as from streets, parks and tall buildings. Today, I'm going to share 3 best places to photograph Tokyo Tower with you.

1. Zojo-ji (増上寺)

Zojo-ji (増上寺)

       First, my husband and I went to Zojo-ji (増上寺), a Buddhist temple located nearby Tokyo Tower. It takes about 7 minutes from the Tokyo Tower by walk. I think that it should be more beautiful in the evening. By the way, Tokyo Tower lights up at sunset every day.

2. Shiba Park 4th Block (芝公園 4号地)

Shiba Park 4th Block (芝公園 4号地)

     Then, we went to Shiba Park 4th Block. Shiba Park (芝公園) is located around Zojo-ji and is so huge. The best place in Shiba Park to see Tokyo Tower is Shiba Park 4th Block (芝公園 4号地). It takes about 7 minutes to Shiba Park 4th Block from Zojo-ji by walk.

3. Hibiya Dori (日比谷通り)

Tokyo Tower Reflection in Atago Green Hills MORI Tower

        You can enjoy the beautiful reflection of the Tokyo Tower in Atago Green Hills MORI Tower (愛宕グリーンヒルズMORIタワー) building from Hibiya Dori (日比谷通り), a street along the Shiba Park.

      Tokyo Tower changes its color with a special lighting, which is called Diamond Veil, at 8 p.m. on Saturdays and special days. We enjoyed this Tokyo Tower Diamond Veil illumination on January 1st.
