       This week, my husband and I went to Las Vegas, Nevada, for a short vacation. We've visited Las Vegas many times so far, but it was our first time to travel out of Southern California after the COVID-19 pandemic started. It's been almost two years since then.

             It took us four and a half hours to drive from our home to Las Vegas.

               We stayed in Conrad Las Vegas at Resorts World in Las Vegas. On December 25th, we decided to walk on the Las Vegas Strip after having breakfast.  We started walking from the Conrad hotel. Then, we walked to New York New York and went back to the Conrad hotel. We walked over 16,000 steps in two hours. It was a great workout on Christmas. 😉

      There were some Starbucks cafes along the Las Vegas Strip, and many people were waiting in long lines to get coffee. Starbucks is always very busy in the morning.

          This time, we didn't see any shows nor play casino in Las Vegas in order to avoid too busy places because of the pandemic. However, we really enjoyed staying at hotel and walking on the Las Vegas Strip. 😊 I'll write about the Conrad hotel we stayed in Las Vegas next time.
