Starbucks in Fukuoka, Japan! I Finally Found Starbucks You Are Here Mugs There! - New Year's Japan Travel Day 7

        My husband and I traveled Japan during New Year's holidays. As I mentioned in my previous entry, after we got on a rental car, Nissan March, he told me, "Let's go to Starbucks nearby Fukuoka Airport before going to my parent's home."

       As I mentioned in my previous entry, Starbucks Japan Finally Released You Are Here Collection Mug!, since 2013, my husband and I have been collecting Starbucks You Are Here Collection Mugs which are only released locally. During traveling Japan, we wanted to get You Are Here Collection Japan mug, which was just released in October in 2017. We visited many Starbucks branches in Tokyo but couldn't find one! A Starbucks staff told us that it was too popular for foreign tourists and was sold out very quickly in October! My husband also called one of Starbucks located near our hometown, Fukuoka, but he was told that they didn't carry one. That's why we almost gave up finding one in Japan.

       That's why when he asked me to stop by Starbucks nearby Fukuoka Airport, I told him, "I think that they don't have one anymore even though it's located in non tourist place."  ;(

     We were really surprised that they actually had a lot of Starbucks You Are Here mugs!!! When we found these, we were so excited! "Yay! We finally found Japanese ones!" :)))

     While we were excited about it, a Starbucks young female staff told us, "Is it so rare? I haven't seen a customer buying this one." It seemed that Starbucks You Are Here Collection Japan mugs were not popular for local people. That's a great news for us though. ;D We told her that we have been collecting this series and how hard it was to find one now. Anyway, we were glad that we finally found this one at Starbucks in Fukuoka. ;)

     Then, we took the highway and stopped by the highway service area, the highway rest area. I'll write about it next time. :)
