Back for More: Top Japanese Beauty Products I Can’t Live Without

This year, I'm planing on visiting Japan again. I've already started thinking about Japanese beauty products I would like to purchase there. During my previous Japan visit in 2022, I purchased a lot of Japanese beauty products. The Japanese beauty products I brought back in 2022 have been a delightful discovery. I’ve used them almost completely and can’t wait to buy some of them again when I return to Japan this year. Today, I'm going to share with you Japanese beauty products I would like to purchase again when I visit Japan this year.

If you are following my blog for long time, you might know how much I love Muji products. Muji Light Toning Water (無印良品敏感肌用化粧水しっとりタイプ) has been my all-time favorite Japanese keshosui, when I go to Japan, this is always on my shopping list. I like the fact that its texture is as light as water, but it moisturizes very well (With applying light feeling keshosui, I feel as if my skin were drinking water.).

In my previous Japan visit, I purchased three kinds of Japanese keshosui in addition to Muji Light Toning Water. Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium Lotion (肌ラボ白潤プレミアムしっとりタイプ浸透美白化粧水) has became my most favorite one. I really understood that many Japanese beauty experts review that Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium Lotion is the best in drugstore beauty products. According to Rohto, it contains white tranexamic acid which works for dark spots and hyperpigmentation. The texture is thicker than Muji Light Toning Water. I apply Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium Lotion after applying Muji Light Toning Water.

Indeed, I noticed that it really fades hyperpigmentation and smooths skin texture. That's why I would like to buy one in Japan again.

It effectively moisturizes my skin, keeping it hydrated throughout the day. I’ve noticed an improvement in my skin condition since I started using it.

The reason why I wanted to buy this Kose Clear Turn Suhada Mask (コーセークリアターンごめんね素肌) was that my favorite YouTuber, Sumisho who used to work for a Japanese cosmetic company as a cosmetic scientist in Japan, recommends this Kose Clear Turn mask in his YouTube video. LDK Beauty Magazine also says this face mask is better than high-end facial masks. I really liked that the sheet was thick, of good quality, and provided excellent hydration for my skin. I would like to purchase it again.

How to Prepare Berry Chia Pudding : A Healthy Treat

Since this spring, I’ve frequently prepared berry chia pudding on weekends because fresh berries have been in season. Fresh fruit is available to me at an affordable cost.

This nutritious treat is both delicious and satisfying. Not only is this healthy snack tasty, but it also keeps me full. Today, I'm going to share with you how to make berry chia pudding.

Ingredients (6 Servings)

1 LB of Strawberries

1 Orange

1 Banana

3 Tablespoons of Greek Yogurt

1/2 Cup of Soy Milk

2 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice

6 Tablespoons of Chia Seeds

Garnish

Greek Yogurt

Granola

Fruit of Choice (I chose blueberries and raspberries this time.)

1. Put strawberries, orange, banana, Greek yogurt, soy milk and lemon juice in a blender, and blend them until smooth.

2. Put one tablespoon of chia seeds into each glass.

3. Pour mixture, and stir.

4. Cover them with plastic wrap. Let them sit in a refrigerator over night.

5. Garnish it with yogurt, granola and fruit.

6. Enjoy!

Exploring Paradise: Six Must-Hike Trails on Oahu Island

During our trip to Oahu, Hawaii, my husband and I had a great time exploring the hiking trails. There’s an abundance of hiking trails on Oahu. Today, I'm going to share with you six hiking areas I liked on Oahu Island.

1. Koko Crater Tramway to Kokohead Lookout

Koko Crater Tramway to Kokohead Lookout

I found the Koko Crater hike in Oahu to be incredibly challenging, yet thoroughly enjoyable. If you would like to try it, be sure to wear a hat with high UPF and carry plenty of water on the Koko Crater hike. There’s no shade along the trail, so you’ll want to avoid heat exhaustion.
