Pecten Reef Loop |
Last month, my husband and I decided to go to Pecten Reef Loop to enjoy hiking. This trail is very unique because you will see 15 to 20 million-year-old marine fossils. We found this trail in the book, 50 Hikes in Orange County, which I purchased to enjoy Orange County hikes.
Tips for Walking on Aliso Creek Trail and Pecten Reef Trail.
・Apply sunscreen on entire body.
・Wear sunglasses and hat.
・Drink water often.
・You can bring your dogs.
・It's easy trail.

On your right, you will find trailhead to Pecten Reef Loop. This trail is narrow and very quiet, but you probably pass by some mountain bikers in this trail sometimes.
