Sapporo Ichiban Momosan Ramen Tokyo Chicken - Costco Haul & How He Cooked!

Sapporo Ichiban Momosan Ramen Tokyo Chicken
Today, my husband and I went to our local Costco and purchased Sapporo Ichiban Momosan Ramen Tokyo Chicken for our first time. It's because it's made in Fukuoka prefecture, which is our hometown. "It's made in Japan. I guess it must taste good!"

As soon as we came back home, he cooked it for our lunch. I was surprised that it tasted really good indeed. Unlike cheap instant noodles, these noodles were nice and chewy. Soup had rich chicken flavor and was so delicious! By the way, 鶏 (とり, ニワトリ) means chicken in Japanese. If you are a ramen lover and haven't tried Sapporo Ichiban Momosan Ramen Tokyo Chicken yet, you really should try it. I thought this was one of the best Japanese instant ramens you can find in the U.S. 😋

I didn't know who this man is at first. I heard that he is Masaharu Morimoto (森本 正治), who is a famous Japanese chef as an Iron Chef on TV show. He is more famous in the U.S. than in Japan. Even though This Sapporo Ichiban Momosan Ramen is made in Fukuoka, Japan, you cannot find one in Japan. This can be only found in the U.S. for now.

Ingredients (1 Serving)

1 Sapporo Ichiban Momosan Ramen Tokyo Chicken

450ml of Water

1 Egg

1/2 Cup of Chopped Green Onions

1 Tablespoon of Kizami Nori

 1. In a small pot, bring water to a boil. Add noodles and cook for 3 minutes.

 2. Meanwhile, empty soup packet and liquid seasoning packet in a large ramen bowl.

 3. Pour hot water into the bowl and mix well.

 4. Add noodles and stir.

 5. Add a cooked egg.

By the way, he always cooks eggs with a microwave oven. Put a little water in a small bowl and put a fresh egg in it. Then microwave it for seconds. If you over cooked the egg in a microwave oven, you know that it would be exploded in it. Try not to over cook the egg.

 6. Top it with green onions.

 7. Top it with kizami nori. If you don't have kizami nori, shredded dried seaweed, you can use any types of nori.

8. Enjoy!
