Last weekend, my husband and I went to Desert Hills Premium Outlets. It was the last weekend before Christmas, so I had expected that it must be very crowded with people enjoying the last-minute holiday shopping. However, it was not too bad. I think that it was almost as busy as regular weekend. :)
It's been a while since we had enjoyed shopping at an outlet mall. It's because online
shopping is obviously more convenient than traditional shopping.
However, I thought that a one-day shopping trip must be a fun event for us and would be a pleasant exercise to walk around the
mall. Actually, we were really enjoyed shopping there because many retailers were offering big holiday sales! Today, I'm

I've purchased many Japanese products in the past year because my husband and I visited Japan last winter, and he went on his business trip to Japan three times this year. I really love Uniqlo EZY Jeans! I wrote about Uniqlo EZY Jeans in my previous entry, The Most Comfortable Japanese Jeans - Uniqlo EZY Jeans, and I eventually purchased two pairs of Uniqlo EZY Jeans for my husband and myself in last February, and since then we have been wearing the jeans every weekend! They are so soft and comfortable just like sweat pants. I really recommend Uniqlo EZY Jeans to everyone who wears jeans!

I like the fact that Uniqlo is offering a free alteration, so you can choose the right length of jeans!
I purchased this microwavable warmer, Hakugen Yutapon L Size (白元 ゆたぽん L サイズ), in Japan last winter, and I really enjoy using it this winter as well. If you know Japanese Hokkairo, Japanese disposable heat pack, you will think that this Yutapon is like a huge reusable Hokkairo.
I use it when I'm writing on my blog. I microwave it and place it over my knees. Then, I cover my legs with plush throw. I feel like as if I were putting my legs in Japanese kotatsu! ;) When I go to a bed with this warmer, it also helps me to fall asleep. :) I have some Japanese microwavable warmers, and this is the best warmer I've ever purchased. Seriously, I cannot live without it during cold season!
How to Warm It Up
1. Fold it in two. Then place it in a microwave oven.
2. With using a 1000W microwave oven, microwave it for two minutes.
3. Turn it over. Then, microwave it for another two minutes.
4. Put it in its warmer cover. Enjoy!
I'm impressed that it removes makeup and moisturizes my skin at the same
time! My skin doesn't feel sticky after that but well hydrated. :)
According to Bifesta, you don't have to rinse your face after removing
makeup with this wipe, and you don't even have to apply moisturizer
because it's a all-in-one cleansing wipe (makeup remover + moisturizer),
so you can sleep right after using this wipe. As soon as I came back home, I removed my makeup and could relax at night. Although I washed my face and moisturizes my skin as usual before going to bed. I highly recommend this one for anyone who wears makeup!

I've used this toaster oven, Sharp Healsio Gurie (シャープヘルシオグリエ), a lot this year, and I really love it. As I mentioned in my previous entry, Healsio Gurie - What I Want to Get in Japan, Healsio Gurie is a very expensive toaster oven (but Sharp calls it "a
water oven."). While a typical affordable Japanese toaster oven costs
around 3,000 yen, Sharp Healsio Gurie is 32,500 yen! I was able to purchase my Healsio Gurie AXH1 for 19,171 yen at an electronics store in Japan a year ago because Sharp
had just released its newer model, Healsio Gurie AXH2, so AXH1 was on sale
there! (If you live in Japan, AXH1 is selling at more affordable price on Amazon Japan now.) Healsio Gurie has so many positive reviews on Amazon Japan. Many people review that it improved their life. :)
Healsio Gurie heats up foods with their steam technology. It makes cold
tempura fresh and crispy just like it was freshly deep-fried.
I also used Healsio Gurie for frozen tempura which I purchased at Costco
US, and I was surprised that the tempura turned out crispy and tasted
so much better than I had expected. :)
Japanese Sliced Bread
I also toasted Japanese sliced bread. It turned out crispy
outside and fluffy inside. One of the best things I found for Healsio Gurie was that it won't burn toast black. It seemed that it also heats up from inside of food (It is maybe their steam technology!). I was also able to toast croissants perfectly, and it was hot and fluffy inside!
Baked Potatoes
My favorite ones I made with Healsio Gurie were baked potatoes! :) I heated russet potatoes with Healsio Gurie for 45 to 60 minutes, and seasoned them with salt and butter. It was moist and fluffy. :) In addition, the potato skin was so crispy. I didn't know that potato skins are so delicious! (Potato skins are edible and nutritious but shouldn't be eaten in large amount at a time because of the toxin solanine.)
Yaki Imo (焼き芋), Japanese Roasted Sweet Potato
I've also made my favorite yaki imo (焼き芋), roasted Japanese sweet potatoes, so many times! I heated Japanese sweet potatoes with Healsio Gurie for 45 minutes to 60 minutes. I was able to make perfect yaki imo easily. It reminded me of Donki's roasted yaki imo I had in Japan! ;) I enjoyed my yaki imo with anko, sweetened red bean paste. That was perfect! :)

Last week, my eyes felt dry and uncomfortable. I noticed that the lacrimal gland of my left eye was slightly swollen. I thought that I might need to see an eye doctor. ;( I knew that he had purchased some Japanese eye drops in Japan, and I asked him if I could get one of them. I finally got this Sante FX Neo. :) Did you know that some Japanese eye drops give you extremely cooling sensation? As I mentioned in my previous entry, Top 8 Most Intense Japanese Eye Drops - Extremely Super Cooling Sensation!, frankly, I didn't use to be a big fan of intense eye drops because those really scared me the moment I drop the eye drops in my eye. However, this time, I was not scared at it some how, and I felt like I have grown a little! ;)
Right after I applied the eye drops, it instantly hydrated my eyes and relieved the discomfort. It was so refreshing! Next morning, I noticed that my eyes were as good as new! This one really worked for me! :)
