Marutai Kurume Tonkotsu Ramen - What My Husband Cooked This Weekend

As I mentioned in my previous entry, my mother-in-law sent some Japanese foods including some noodles from Japan. Last Friday, my husband cooked this Marutai Kurume Tonkotsu Ramen (マルタイ久留米とんこつラーメン), which is local instant ramen noodles of Kurume, Fukuoka prefecture. This had two servings of instant noodles.

He cooked ramen very quickly like always he does. :) He always cooks perfect noodles with the right firmness. I felt as if I were eating local ramen noodles restaurant serves in Fukuoka. It was perfect with egg, nori and shredded ginger pickles. When you go to ramen restaurant in Fukuoka, you can see ginger pickles and takanazuke on tables. You can top ramen noodles with those pickles as much as you want. It's how you eat tonkotsu ramen in Fukuoka.

Marutai instant ramen noodles are ones we used to eat when we lived in Fukuoka, which is our hometown. He told me that his mother used to cook Marutai ramen for him and his brother on some weekends, and it has been his favorite instant noodles since he was child.

If you love authentic Japanese tonkotsu ramen, you should try Marutai Tonkotsu instant ramen noodles. Marutai has been making ramen noodles in Fukuoka since 1947. They make so many kinds of instant noodles, and as I mentioned in my previous entry, we also love Marutai Bou Ramen.
