【Hike】San Clemente Beach Coastal Trail - Hiking Trail Next to The Railroads

In September this year, my husband and I decided to go to San Clemente beaches to hike the beach trail. I fond this trail from All Trails App, a hiking trail app.

Before going there, we stopped by Outlets At San Clemente, which is located close to San Clemente beaches. This is not a huge outlets mall, which only has 72 stores and restaurants, but I liked that it's a pretty quiet mall. 😊 If you are planing on hiking San Clemente Beach Trail and also love shopping, you should visit the outlets mall before going to the beaches.

We parked along the street, Calle De Los Alamos, close to Leslie Park, and we headed toward the Lasuen Beach, Lost Winds Beach. There is a narrow long stairway to access to the beach.

After watching the train pass, we hiked the San Clemente Beach Trail and headed toward the San Clemente Pier. This is a flat and easy trail. It's only 0.8 mile from the Lasuen Beach to the San Clemente Pier.

There was a restaurant, The Fisherman's Restaurant & Bar. The restaurant was crowded with many people because it's a perfect place to enjoy sunset. In contrast, the pier was not crowded at all. It's a pretty quiet pier. 😊

We enjoyed walking the trail along the San Clemente beaches. Especially, I liked that the trail is next to railroads, so we were able to watch the train pass. If I have a chance to visit San Clemente, I would like to walk from the North Beach to the San Clemente Pier next time.
