After leaving from Kiholo Bay, my husband and I stopped by Kohala Coffee Mill Cafe on our way to Pololu Valley. Right before sundown, we finally arrived at Pololu Valley Lookout.

The parking lot was at the end of the road. At that time, it was not crowded at all, so we were able to find a parking space very easily.

While hiking on the trail, we enjoyed watching the lush vegetation. I found this large interesting tree with some green fruits, which I had never seen before.

By the way, after coming back home, I googled it and found that it was papaya tree!

After hiking for 20 minutes or so, we finally arrived at the beach with black sand. The water was really cloudy like milk tea because it had rained a lot previous night. I saw two people were surfing there though.

After taking photos at the beach, we hiked back up to the parking lot.

I felt great after hiking up the steep trail. When we arrived at the parking lot, it was getting dark. There was no light at all, so we headed back to our hotel.
