Starbucks Japan Finally Released New You Are Here Collection Mug! - Japan Spring Edition

      My husband and I have been collecting Starbucks You Are Here Collection Mugs which are only released locally. As I mentioned in my previous entries, we got Starbucks You Are Here Japan Mug and Starbucks You Are Here Collection Japan Mug Winter Edition in Japan last year.

     This year, Starbucks Japan finally released Starbucks You Are Here Collection Japan Mug Spring Edition on March 20!

Starbucks You Are Here Collection Mug (414ml) - Japan (Spring Edition)

       Spring is the season when sakuras (桜), cherry blossoms, start blooming in Japan. This spring edition mug has pictures of beautiful cherry blossoms and their pink petals flying in sky. It has also pictures of cute cabbage white butterflies flying around beautiful nanohana (菜の花), canola blossoms.

      Koinobori (鯉のぼり), carp streamers, are windsocks that Japanese families who have boys desolate in sky from April through May. When I was a child, my family also hung a huge koinobori outside to wish my brothers good health and success in their life.

     It has a picture of chirashizushi next to a daruma doll. Chirashizushi (ちらし寿司) is a type of sushi you can make at home. Chirashizushi is also eaten during Hinamatsuri (ひな祭り), girl's day or Japanese doll's festival.
