Our Las Vegas Travel Day 1 - Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa Hotel

On January 1, my husband and I headed toward Las Vegas at 11 a.m. It was our third time to travel in Las Vegas. We had stayed in the hotels which were located on the Strip so far, but this time, we decided to stay in Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa Hotel, which was further away from the strip, to relax. We arrived at the hotel at 6 p.m. and used the Valet Parking for our first time. The hotel was luxurious and beautiful. We checked into the hotel and went to our room, which was 17th floor. Our room was clean and beautiful, and it had green and brown modern luxurious furniture. The walls were wood-like texture uniquely. The room had huge floor-to-ceiling windows.

The bathroom was marble and had a deep soaking bathtub.

There was a small TV and a pretty big painting on the wall.

Their toiletries smelled fabulous because these contained lavender which is my all-time favorite scent. :)

We were going to the gym, but it was already closed. They close the gym at 7 p.m., which was surprisingly too early for me. That's why we decided to go to the casino. Their casino space was pretty huge. What I liked about it was that it was not crowded at all. I remembered that when I went to the casinos which were located just hustling on the Strip, the most casinos were crowded and many people were smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol. In contrast, this casino was very clean and nice. Even though it still smelled like cigarette, I noticed that only few people were smoking, so it didn't bother me too much. Their casino was very nice!

We played poker games and roulette there for less than two hours. At the casino, I won a few dollars. :)

After that, we went to their food court and ordered steak burrito and fish taco at Rubio's. The hotel has some fast-food restaurants, reasonable restaurants, and classy restaurants.

     We went back to our hotel room. I soaked into the hot bathtub and was able to relax. Except for short opening hours of the gym, I was satisfied with this hotel in total on the first day. :)
